Provide Let's Encrypt free wildcard SSL
Simon Quinn (SiteLift) commented
How is this not implemented yet?
This is badly needed ASAP. Lets encrypt now support wildcards as you cab see at https://community.letsencrypt.org/t/acme-v2-and-wildcard-certificate-support-is-live/55579
I am seriously thinking about removing my Wordpress Multisites from Cloudways back to a VPS as the trouble with installing an SSL cert for every subdomain is just too much trouble.
I contacted support asking about this and made them aware of this feedback comment. They have said that they will provide an update on this page.
Waiting for this to happen so I can create my account!

Need this ASAP! Let's Encrypt announced the release March 12th. What is the planned release date for supporting this on Cloudways?
I'd like to add my +1 on this.
Yes... hopefully this will be easy to add... but whether it's easy or not, please do so.
I just tried to add *.domain-name.tld to the SSL settings for a site & realised that wildcard SSL is not supported. According to Let's Encrypt they support Wildcard Certificates from Q1 2018.
I'm not 100% sure about this but I think when you implement Cloudflare onto your site, you'll get wildcard SSL by Cloudflare. Unfortunately not every one needs and/or wants to use Cloudflare.
So pleeeease, Cloudways: MAKE THIS HAPPEN!
