API support
I'd like to recommend you have API support added to your system. I'd love to be able to launch and control Cloudways services through an API.

API is live: https://support.cloudways.com/how-to-use-the-cloudways-api/

API is already live in private beta. We hope to release it public during this month.

Last comment that API documentation should be available during June. Any update on this?

The API is in place (since launch of new console). We are working on documentation. Should be available during June.

I'd like to be able to pull the offsite-backups (not the local backup version)

This is great news Cloudways. Just been chatting with your customer support and we're so close to migrating some of our sites across to you... almost there ... when the API goes live we'll surely start a trial

This has been started. We hope to have an initial version available sometime in January (with basic functionality). We will build on that so most of the features available from console are available through API (and hopefully more at some point).

I would be a cloudways customer if you had this feature. We don't need much, just the ability to provision new servers on our account and add applications/urls/domains to existing servers. Can't be hard to provide some API endpoints as an alternative to the web interface?

Really need an API of some sort for Cloudways. As we sell managed hosting services to our clients, we vitally need to be able to integrate Cloudways into a billing platform such as WHMCS or Blesta or any other for that matter.

I would like an API Call to pull back reporting, for example CPU usage.
At the moment we have over 20 instances and are looking to scale up. We would have to login to click&go and visit each instance individually to ensure none of our instances need scaling up.
I am happy to login and do the physical scaling but it would be handy to be able to call an API to pull by instance data based on instance ID or something.

We are working on this. Currently exploring DeployHQ integration with Cloudways. Additionally working on an API to automate web hooks.
