A guide to restore local backups, or option for local backups to be restored within server and/or application level
Title says it all. There should be a guide to restore local backups to a server, not just a button on restoring from a cloudways backed up solution.
There should also be a way to automate this within the Cloudways UI, not via SFTP/SSH

Cron job URL open and close quotes for URL that has ampersand
Right now when setting up basic cron job with the type selection curl, the URL does not accept open and closing quotes that have an ampersand sign. I was having issues running basic cron jobs because the URL that had an ampersand sign, it escaped everything after that.
For example:
In the below URL when the basic cron job is setup, it escapes everything after &.

Varnish and Redish Configuration
Hello,
UI should allow us to set Varnish TTL time more than 24 hours and Redish and Varnish memory settings and storage settings etc.
Without this how come you are a good hosting solution?

Support for Vary: Accept header in Cloudflare
By default, Cloudflare works to cache objects based on the URL. This prevents image optimization plugins from working, because there may be different images at the same URL - depending on whether the browser supports the format. The idea is that Cloudflare also takes into account the Accept header sent by the browser. In every hosting plan you have Cloudflare Enterprise. In the paid version of Cloudflare, this can be easily configured.
Here is the working principle of the idea I am talking about:
https://blog.cloudflare.com/vary-for-images-serve-the-correct-images-to-the-correct-browsers/In order to properly configure Cloudflare, you must make such a request to the API:

Allow access to update/view/create supervisor configuration
I'm currently using Symfony for my application and really like supervisor to consume messages I need to process.
The problem I have at the moment is the UI is very Laravel orientated not giving much flexibility.
I currently need to contact support every time I need to create, update or view existing processes which can be time consuming.
Can we grant an advanced option to allow us to configure our own processes?

Remove Object Cache Pro as a standard install from all new server/app builds
This is really frustrating when you clone or build a new app and it automatically enables OCP. It does nothing for dynamic websites except add an additional overhead (slowing the app down, ironically the opposite of what it is designed to do).

Reinstate SSH tunnelling so that VSCode can Remote SSH to new Cloudways servers
Not being able to SSH to a remote server due to Cloudways disabling tunnelling means all work needs to be done via Command Line which is more time consuming due to no UI. Remote SSH (extension which uses tunnelling) in VSCode is a standard part of many devs' workflow.
This also seems to be affecting the command line and getting 'broekn pipe' disconnections when it would normally stay connected - this is even more important now that VSCode can't be used for remote SSH.

Improve staging DB pull / push feature and user experiance
When using a staging server that's linked to the live server we have the option to push / pull data from the live server to the staging server.
If you want to select specific tables your system displays the tables in a very confusing manner/order. I'm not sure what order they are displayed in but it would be much easier and more user friendly if they we're in alphabetical order and match / similar to the table layout in the DB. We have to choose a larger number of tables and use Magento so there's lots of tables to scroll…

staging sites
Hello, Can you please roll out a bug fix for the following :)
By default let whatever team member that is creating a staging site to have full permission to use it?
I've just found out a team member created a staging site but is unable to access it. As admin, I had to tick his staging site for him to be able to do anything with it!
Thanks

Improve the Database Selected Tables Window Layout in Staging Management
The staging management window that allows for the selection of which database tables to push or pull between staging and live is completely useless in it's current format of a horizontal list with truncated table names. The table list should be alphabetically columnar with the full table name in view to make for easy selection.

Have varnish provide cached content for standard query parameters (like Cloudflare APO does for UTM parameters, etc)
Currently, Varnish cache is "broken" for all query parameters. This means anyone comeing from Facebook, which adds "fbclid", or from any link with standard UTM parameters like "utm_source" is served an un-cached page.
Varnish WILL then cache that entire page + query strings, but that's not very helpful.
It would be ideal to have it behave like Cloudflare APO as described here: https://developers.cloudflare.com/automatic-platform-optimization/reference/query-parameters/
So, for the "allowed" parameters, Varnish would serve cached content of the base URL without parameters.

During Vertical Scaling down time display a landing page for customers
During Vertical Scaling when the website goes down it would be great to see cloudways display a page like "Back soon currently making this site more awesome" or something to comunicate that the website will be back up after the scaling as no server side extension or feature can run for most of the upgrade it just shows as no responce from server.

SafeUpdates monthly option for scheduled updates
I think it is essential to have the option for monthly schedule updates. Plugin updates sometimes can break a site from faulty code, and I think it would be useful to have the option for not-so-regular updates. A monthly option sounds ideal because it will reduce workload for our developer to check on regular base the site after the updates which now the latest scheduled option is weekly.

scale down easily
For most providers (except Google and AWS) there is an easy way to scale up but it is impossible to scale down. Make it possible to scale down as well.
Applications not necessarily go up all the time.1 vote
