  1. Wildcard SSL for multisite but also works for mapped domains

Right now we have two options for having SSL working for WordPress networks. We can have a wildcard SSL certificate OR we manually map domains to each subsite. It would be nice of we could have both.

    Thank you

  2. Allow changing Varnish config file (VCL) after application setup

A dropdown with options next to the "Varnish Toggle" button allowing us to choose which VCL is configured with this application would allow us flexibility to change our stack without having to create a whole new application and reconfigure ours.

  4. Ability to disable Off-site Backup

    1) Off-site backup is a paid service. Please allow us to disable it if we want to.

    2) What's your reasoning for rounding up backup charges on $0.5 increments?

  7. Tracked deletions in git should be synced with the server upon deployment

Currently when using the git deployment feature, if you delete a previously tracked file and push this change to the server it doesn't delete the file from the server.

This means you're left with lots of legacy files that are no longer needed, and your repo is no longer in sync with your server files.

This can cause issues if you ever wanted to push changes back from the server to git as it would then track the previously deleted files and re-add them to the sever!

I'd assume this to be expected behaviour but there might be a reason…

  8. Update Apache 2.4.28 or later after website failed penetration test

One of our clients recently undertook a penetration test on their site in accordance with their ISO application. It was highly recommended that Apache was upgraded to version 2.4.28 or later as Apache 2.4.10 was reported to have multiple vulnerabilities.

Most large UK based companies will undergo a similar ISO application so this should really be completed.

    Thanks!

  10. Install X-sendfile on Server

    Install X-sendfile on Server

According to this article below, you mention using X-Sendfile to serve digital downloads for woocommerce. It is not currently installed on servers by default, and would be great if it was. Also to provide instructions on best way to setup for secure downloads for woocommerce.

  13. Be able to exclude certain objects from Redis (Object Cache Pro)

Hi, it would be very useful to be able to exclude certain objects from the Object Cache Pro plugin.

I currently have a setup in which a certain post query varies from user to user, and Redis caches it, serving one user's cached version to the rest of users, which breaks my site's functionality.

So now I'm forced to fully deactivate the plugin, instead of just leaving that certain object out of the cache.

  14. Update ImageMagick to support AVIF

The current version of ImageMagick is from the legacy (v6) branch. Updating to the latest version of the v7 branch would allow for AVIF image format support. AVIF has been out for a couple years now and can provide substantially better compression than WebP.

  15. Preserving IP address when cloning server - making scaling down hassle-free

    Scaling up is easy.

Scaling down (with Vultr, DigitalOcean or Linode) requires to clone a server.

When cloning, server gets new IP address - this causes a lot of hassle with application integration or DNS configuration.

    SUGGESTION:
It would be great to make scaling down hassle-free, so that after cloning server could have the same IP as previous server.

  16. Make phpmyadmin as default database manager

    Hi,

Why don't make phpmyadmin as the default database manager. Everybody uses it. All tutorials on the web are about this manager.
    Not this cloudways default manager.

Now i always need to do a complicated time taking installation.
    This is not user friendly?

  19. support naming application folders and databases arbitrarily

The current scheme is absolutely impossible to remember. Even when renaming folders, the randomly selected name remains as the new name is a link.

That means this would have to be asked for before anything has been set up.

Usually I want to name the folder and database to the (sub)domain or the actual application name. What's easier to remember than that?

Support at least letters, digits, "-", "_", ".", unless restricted by the database engine in question.

  20. More servers located in Brazil!

The only server located in Brazil is from Amazon. The value is too high for more common applications. Please, we urgently need more servers in Brazil regardless of the provider.
