  2. SSH On Off Button

A simple button to turn ssh on and off, ssh can be turned off until the admin needs to use it so it adds an additional level of security straight on the dashboard. Thanks

  4. Option to DELETE Team Member.

Love the ability to add team member. However there's no way to DELETE a team member. Once this team member is added, his/her email is forever associated as a team member to one Cloudway account and there's no way to use this email username for another Cloudways account. Yikes!

  5. Transfer servers or applications between accounts

I would love to be able to start a new server and transfer it to my client once I'm done so he would be billed for it.
On AWS you can change the billing for a specific stack.

  6. Option to update composer

Composer can not be updated without sudo permissions. You should make this option available as all modern php frameworks are based on composer.

Composer is now auto-updated on deployment (so new servers get latest version) and recurring updates happening bi-weekly automatically.

  9. Wildcard Subdomains for WP Multisite App

When using WP multisite with subdomains, it's a real pain to have to add each subdomain to the app control panel to make it work. Wildcard subdomains are the preferred method, since you only have to set it up one time. After that WP controls subdomains, and so no additional info is required.

Now you can updated username and password for both Master Credentials and Application Credentials:
    https://support.cloudways.com/which-is-the-difference-between-master-credentials-and-application-credentials/

You can also change the database password (please note that you need to update manually the database password in your applications configuration files).

We don’t have plans to allow FQDN change (FQDN is just meant for you to point your own domain to via CNAME) nor database name / database username changes. These are core to many platform processes and we can’t allow for them to be updated.

  12. SSH keys to access my servers (instead of passwords)

Ability to add SSH keys as per digital ocean. Saves password logins when making and deploying changes.

This is now done. You can upload your SSH keys in the Application Management tab, Access Details section.

  13. Add Support to change the Document-Root of an Application (custom web root)

Allot of modern PHP-Application have several Web-Dir (for example Symfony, Neos etc.) So it should be possible to change the Document-Root on the PHP-Stack. Allow Symlinks as Document-Root would be also great so its possible to deploy applications via capistrano.

  15. Offer a list view of servers (so more compressed view than current)

The dashboard interface of servers are nicely looking, but having more than 4-5 servers it will probably quickly be difficult to get at quick overview.

I suggest making a sort er table like overview alternative on the dashboard which can be toggled between the current verbose one and a compressed one.

  16. hire really good information architects & empower them to design great user experiences.

Technologists are great, where would be without them. But they shouldn't be in charge of IT. If you want usability, you will get it by hiring information professionals (Information Architects, UX Designers, etc.) and giving the power to create great user experiences. That's how you'll win over me & everyone else out here in your marketplace.

    Hello

This is already integrated into the platform.

MYSQL Remote access is disabled by default, users will have to whitelist the IP to access MySQL remotely. For more details please visit https://support.cloudways.com/en/articles/5124817-how-to-whitelist-ip-addresses-for-remote-mysql-connections

While for SSH we provide an option to disable access completely except the whitelisted IP addresses. please visit https://support.cloudways.com/en/articles/5121429-how-to-manage-ip-access-for-ssh-and-sftp-connections

    Best Regards,
    Cloudways Team.

  18. Update Linode Servers to the Newest Specs.

The current Cloudways tiers for Linenode are 1 generation behind. These should be updated to the newest available offerings (updated on May 17, 2018). This includes increasing the highest available tiers.

    Cloudways Current Tier Sample:
    2 Core / 4GB RAM / 48GB SSD
    20 Core / 80GB RAM / 1536 SSD (MAX Tier)

    Linode Current Tier Sample:
    2 Core / 4GB RAM / 80GB SSD
    32 Core / 192GB RAM / 3840 SSD (MAX Tier)

  19. Edit Wildcard SSL Support Article

In the article on creating wildcard SSL certs the image in Step 3 is misleading.

Currently suggests using the FULL URL for 'Host' when all you need to add is:

    _acme-challenge.

This took ages with Live Chart to figure out.

    Thanks

  20. Upgrade PHP Version 7.2 for WordPress
