  1. Continue to support cache plugin!!

Hi! Your cache plugin is AMAZING! Please, please continue to support it. I tried another plugin (WP Rocket): for my site is far better than that one. I would buy it for sure, if you would decide sell it. Just please continue to develop it, please!
Just a big THANK YOU for all the creators behind that fantastic plugin!

  2. Cloudways migration plugin deleted empty (but important) folders.

I migrated a website using the Cloudways Migration plugin, which has a number of important folders that had to be in the directory, although they were empty. When I completed the migration, the server immediately crashed due to the error log file being flooded with an error. It seems that those folders were deleted during the migration. I think that the Cloudways Migration plugin deleted them because they were empty folders. However, they were important, and a function that was looking for those directories could not find them, and triggered an error file that kept growing and growing.

  3. Managed WordPress Multisite Backup

It would be great to have an option to back up a multi-site wordpress network and then be able to restore only one subsite of that backup.

Example: I have a multisite network with 100 customer sites. I backup my network daily. If a client in my network asked me to restore a backup I would only restore that client's site and not the entire network.

I know that Cloudways works in partnership with BlogVault.
BlogVault already has a WordPress Multisite compatible backup system.
You could integrate this solution into the Cloudways administration panel.

  4. WordPress as a Service - WaaS

It would be great if there was a WaaS WP environment where I could Launch a server with My main WordPress membership site where I sell preconfigured WordPress installations that already have Theme/Plugin setups.
The idea would be to automate the deployment of a WordPress install that I have already setup, and assign it a subdomain and SSL once a customer has made a purchase
The automated process would go something like this:
    1) My customer would place an order for a preconfigured WP Install.
    2) Upon successful check out, have an automation triggered that does the following
    a. Clones…

Currently, translation via WordPress website is only enabled for Development Readme. You could check if there is any errors at https://make.wordpress.org/meta/handbook/documentation/translations/#this-plugin-is-not-properly-prepared-for-localization-%e2%80%93-help

  6. Default wordpress config

Please consider modifying the default wordpress wp-config file to include. I have had to manually add that to every install so that visitor IP's are showing up correctly.

    if ( isset( $SERVER[ "HTTPXFORWARDEDFOR" ] ) ) {
    $SERVER[ 'REMOTEADDR' ] = $SERVER[ "HTTPXFORWARDEDFOR" ];

  7. Fix / improve the interface on the wordpress migrate plugin

Currently the plugin will delete all the info from all the fields if you submit and it finds an error. In the UX world, this is considered undiluted evil. Why is the plugin punishing me?

Furthermore, the UX writing is profoundly unclear. The field marked "application folder" is actually for the MYSQL database name. Who would ever figure that out?

If you really want to make it good, don't force the user to enter any of this stuff. Just make an "export settings for the migration plugin" button. It can create a key code that includes all the settings. Copy,…

  8. Have a dedicated WordPress team

I like the Wordpress teams for the managed WordPress hosting on the other hosting platforms like WP Engine, etc. I think that would be cool here. Pick the server that best suits your need and have a WordPress guru team supporting the best CMS out there.

  10. Create a Support Access plugin to provide access token for support agents

Create a plugin that allows a client (us) to generate an access token to provide to a support agent (you) to provide access for troubleshooting support seamlessly. This would avoid me having to create an unnecessary admin account on an install.

I've had this functionality from companies as small as theme developers. It makes for a much better customer experience.

  11. Disable CORS within Cloudways CDN when using WP Rocket

I have talked extensively with WP Rocket and it seems that they use CORS within their plugin. However, Cloudways also has CORS enabled within its CDN service. This causes conflict on most sites and if a conflict occurs when both services are enabled, CORS needs to be disabled on the Cloudways CDN to fix the conflict. I purpose that you include this information within your WP Rocket tutorial: https://support.cloudways.com/how-to-configure-wp-rocket-plugin-wordpress/?utm_source=Platformkb&utm_medium=kbsearch

    Thanks

  12. create a separate architecture for membership wordpress

wordpress scales better with cache. but this cache is a nightmare if yours is a membership site. the members always see pages guest page loaded from cache, not there account specific page.
so having a correct cache setup for membership site is a mandatory.

  15. WP-CLI commands when creating an application

Would it possible when creating a wordpress application using the CloudWays API that you can specify some WP-CLI commands that run after creation so you can install plugins and set other options with an API call? This saves having to SSH into the new application.

  16. Auto-generating random WordPress database prefix to improve security

At the moment, a database prefix in each new WordPress instalation is set "wp_". This is makes a website insecure.

Could you auto-generate a random database prefix to fix that?

    Thank you.

  17. Update the Documentation on W3 Total Cache

It's creating lot of login issue most of the time, causing de-activation of plugin for most of the time.

Kindly update the documentation on this.

  19. Allow changing Wordpress admin credentials and make default password stronger

Admin Area Access credentials for Wordpress are not correct when cloning a website. This causes confusion on what the correct password is. Also, when adding an application, the default password created for wordpress credentials are rather weak. Would like ability to set more secure password and also change/sync a password with Admin Area Access details so that this information could be shared among admin staff.

  20. Enable Cloudways Migrator to include migration from local host (PC) etc

The CW migration plugin won't allow migration from local host. I understand Cloudways is used for production purposes but some people still like to develop on localhost PC etc. It would be advantageous if this restriction was fixed.
