  1. Add averages to data displayed on Monitoring Details tab

    When viewing the Monitoring / Details server tab you can see charts which display data for a selected period, e.g. 7 days. I would like to see an average somewhere for the displayed data.

  2. Add date and time to local backups!

    So currently, when you create a local backup of your server the file is simply called:"backup.tgz".

    To make everyones life easier, why not add the date and time to the filename so its called:"backup271120190030.tgz" or something similar for example.

  3. When a mistake is made during phone registration, let people delete it and start over.

    I tried to register and my phone was out of service, I was asked to give my phone number, and as soon as I gave it, there was a text sent I could not retrieve, and it wouldn't let me start over. I tried to delete the account months ago and just checked back and it's still not deleted. So I still can't get started. you should change this so you get more business and customers aren't forced to use a different service.

  4. Delegate access to manage accounts

    You add suspicious login attempt, I manage 10 accounts, now I have to email owner every time I login???

    It makes no sense

  5. New Server No Mysql

    Add MySql to new server.

    I created a new server and found that it only has MariaDB inside it now. It used to have a choice of mariadb or mysql.

    the timezone database is not filled by default: so these queries fail:

  7. Simpler Account Verification Process

    Regarding Cloudways' account verification process, please consider changing this system. I can no longer suggest my clients to use a company that doesn't put the server online within the hour. A 24-48 hours time period to get the server online it's nonsense. You guys really need to figure out another way to do this faster and easier. Also, to send documents for account verification by email is very rudimentar, I don't see this method for account verification anywhere else. Maybe upload documents on the website? Maybe let user know how long it will actually take to get the server online?…

  8. Cronjob not user and application friendly

    We are happy with cloudway support and services. But i found a major drawback there with cronjob setup. We can't setup cronjobs there as command line. Like in cakephp project we need to run console command like Console/cake Marketplaces runshellcommand, But it doesn't accept it, Now a days all frameworks need a console command to run for cronjob, But this feature not available there.
    2) I didn't found a way for File manager, Where if possible we can edit files online, rather than connect with FTP.

    Please make it possible to access a server from multiple accounts, or allow me to use the same email address to access multiple accounts. I keep using up my email addresses to start client projects and can't re-use them.

  10. Canceled due to horrible support

    Hi,

    I have canceled my plan due to the horrible support:

    • Non-English speakers, most of the time I couldn't even understand what your support staff is trying to say. Please hire people that at least know some basic English. That happened on multiple occasions.

    • Terrible advices. I've never seen so bad advices from a hosting provider.

    • Weak passwords. I've never seen a hosting that is forcing its customers not to use upper case for its passwords. That was brutal.

    • Support randomly closed tickets after failing to explain what they want to say.

  11. Verification information should be made more clear...

    Guys, this verification thing is not made clear enough on your website. (Yes I saw the small notification messages and information, still I somehow waited for some email, from prior hosting account experiences: "your hosting is ready, is being prepared, and so and so.") Maybe you should still send an email regarding this.

    Because "if you don't open this chatbox YOUR ACCOUNT WILL NOT BE VERIFIED and YOU WILL RECEIVE NOTHING FROM US" should be made clear enough.

  14. Queue for API tasks (API multitasks)

    Currently if I need to:

    1. Clone
    2. Set label
    3. Set Domain
    4. Set Aliases
    5. Set SSL
    6. Set something else...

    for the same application, I have to control the queue remotely, which is hard to implement since the connection may be simply lost and as a result we may simply not get any task completed at all.

    It would be just great if we could send you several requests on the API at the same time and see the result of the whole queue.

  15. Improved monitoring and alerts

    The cloudways bot hasn't detected the two times that I've had issues on my server. A few days ago CPU was high and maxing out, sites were not loading and I had to notice this while on the site and open a chat to get it resolved. A couple weeks ago, the entire server was down from 3am to 10am - everything had completely locked up, no warning email.

    In addition, I don't think you can call yourselves "Managed" if you don't get the alerts on your end and check the servers. If I have to log in to see…

  16. Have the ability to change ownership of server to another cloudways account

    It would be great if we can just change ownership of a server. For example, my account. I am using my company Google account to handle our servers, etc on cloudways but maybe it needs to be owned by a generic company account in the event there is employee turnover or I leave the company. Then there would be no way to fully access the servers under my account that the company may need to access if, my account is ever removed.

  20. Alert When Emails are Trying to be Sent from the Server Instead of 3rd Party or add-on

    It would be very helpful for monitoring purposes and quality control purposes if we could be alerted when emails are trying to be sent from the server instead of 3rd party or add-on.

    For example I have a plugin that allows me to setup emailing through mandrill on a site by site basis. This allows for better tracking. In some cases the sites are not able to communicate with mandrill and it falls back to using wp_mail() which would try to get the server to send out the email. Since Cloudways doesn't support emailing from servers these emails fail silently.
