I'd like either bare "metal" spin that allows installing whatever on it or a LAPP stack... We have applications that like that better.5 votes
It'd be great to have the option to have a NodeJS+Express based web server, using MongoDB as database and with support for AngularJS... in short a full MEAN Stack ;) Thanks!31 votes
Litespeed offers a nice performance increment over Apache and Nginx. This would be a great addition to your current performance-oriented offer.62 votes
I know you guys are constantly looking to improve your stack. Could this article be of any help for future stack updates?
As a feature request would it be possible to have the Base Cloudways Stack + App specific optimisation config add-ons? So that if for example I were using Wordpress I could then click a button to optimise the base stack for that particular app without affecting the base stack for other apps.

There is no GEOIP installation in PHP application so its required to install for good improvement application or website speed without any third party call.
I already use digitalocean. We usually configure 2 servers per app one for php (with Nginx+ apc cache) and another one for Mongodb. Would be great to have cloudways with this configuration as the other tools you offer are great.

After analysing feasibility we have decided to drop this option by now. We are not experts in node.js, there are far too many full-stacks to be able to focus on one and the changes/efforts that we would need to do to adapt our platform are too big compared to the limited market we currently have for node.js.
That said, surely it is something that we may reconsider in the future.
Thanks to all for your feedback.
