Option to turn off offsite backups
Can you have an option to turn off offsite backups for the server? I love the function, it's just that we need the option to choose. Also this is not stated in the pricing section, so it is kind of misleading and unclear. It is like a hidden cost, which is not good for Cloudways reputation. You can check this on Reddit too, people think that having no option to turn off offsite backup is not good.

Alert should generate if CPU or RAM Idle Usage is less than 40%
Currently the Bot gives alert if the CPU or RAM idle usage is continuously below 20%. My point is that whenever it goes below 20% an alert should be generated each time.

Protecting files in a specific folder
I'm using WordPress and Easy Digital Downloads plugin to sell downloadable files online. I need to protect files in a specific folder. I found the following article but unfortunately currently there isn't any setting to setup a redirect at Cloudways dashboard. Deactivating Nginx may fix the problem but there isn't any setting for that as well. I'm sure that there are many people who sells downloadable files online, and protecting files is very important for us. I hope you will consider to fix this problem.

Fix Issues With Primary Domain Changes
You might consider this a bug, but after having been bit by it multiple times, I figured it would be best to post it here.
When you have multiple apps on a server and you re-arrange the primary domains on them, changing which app a specific app uses, the server will not properly follow your new primary domain settings and will instead load your default app. Here is how you reproduce the issue:
- Have an app on the server with a domain like dev.mysite.com
- Have a second app (your production app) on the server with a domain like mysite.com.

Ability to use installed application folder as a GIT repository and pull directly.
I was so excited to have Laravel installation in 2 clicks and when I see is up. Then I'd like to pull from server to my local host by GIT and start to development.... No-way. Big frustration :-( if I have an app on GitHub; I can pull it from github to cloudways but I can't use the application folder as a repository.. so what the application installations for? I hope this feature request make sense.

Trevor, can you further develop this?. With master credentials, you should be able to git pull / push / clone … at will from the server.
If you can provide specific issue and steps to reproduce it will be very helpful to assess what we can do.

Add option to enable TCP forwarding in SSH Server
Add a toggle for TCP forwarding in the SSH Server to the advanced tab in the Server Settings (default off) to enable Remote Development over SSH in Visual Studio: Code.

Please offer option to disable Push or Pull in the Staging Management.
Very needed feature is to be able to disable Push or Pull in the Staging Management. We have stopped using that feature all together because mistakes in the past have broken Live sites and we had to recover through backups, losing sales. Push is just too dangerous when clients have access to the Cloudways dashboard and many want to. It's their server. Also, late night work has led to mistakes too just out of exhaustion. But Pull would be nice in order to update the Staging site.

Enable apache directory listing in public_html
Apache directory listing can be very usefull when you need to provide several GB of data to the public, like daily newspaper roundups or other kinds of files that are heavy and are provided as a service to our clients.
I suggest CW to allow clients to enable apache directory listing or at least gives us the possibility of enabling it in only a few directories though CW support.

More options to customize the server.
For customers who dont want a full stack application server and want to use the server only as a webserver (using apache or nginx), it would be great if you can provide such an image as an option.
All the other services running on the server unecessarily consume server resources even if they are not being used.
Alternately, if you can grant the master credentials the ability to start and stop specific applications like mysql etc, via a custom script or via a setting in the console ui that would also work.2 votes -
