It would be easy if there is option to woocommerce multisite1 vote
I pay for third party backup software to manage real time woo-commerce order back ups at the moment, it'd be great if you can add this as an option in cloudways, there's no point in backing up woo-commerce orders daily as you can loose hundreds of orders when you have to restore. I would happy pay a per application add-on fee for this feature.1 vote
Paraphrasing an idea put forward for Magento sites...
The staging area is useless for us at the moment as our users constantly post and sell products, so by the time we have finished work on the staging site updating pages there have been new products added, products sold and so on...this means we cannot merge the staging site with live as it overwrites the orders and products in the database.
An option to exclude data specific to users, products, sales, etc, would be most welcome, so that we could push page layout and interface developments without affecting other content of…17 votes
I love Cloudways UI..
And one of the things I found very handy was the staging functionality you offer (+ the recently added option to select tables).
Nevertheless, I have to say that I tried 2-3 times to create a staging site for a Woocommerce project ..and all of them I failed to successfully push changes back to the live site, without messing up the purchases/orders IDs.
During a 2 week staging period for testing and upgrading ..the live site had new sales and Orders (and incremental ID order) which I had to maintain.
The database tables to exclude…9 votes
I'm looking to run Woocommerce.. and with it's custom tables Woocommerce uses, a real time back ups is a must.
Right now Cloudways only offers "regular" back ups.. these are triggered on time intervals..
I would like if you could also offer "Real Time" back ups..
meaning.. back ups of any new event that happens on live site (for example in WP .. Woocommerce uses it's one tables to track events lik new customer sign ups , payments etc.)
Right now only BlogVault seems to offer this (https://blogvault.net/realtime-backup-for-woocommerce-sites-done-well/)6 votes
We all know that the site loading speed depends a lot on Admin-ajax.php. Immaterial of the Heartbeat or any other setup we do on server side, it takes humongous time when loading on client side any how.
Also i read there is a solution to cache this Varnish config so as to help in reducing site load time.
This would be beneficial for all customers @ Cloudways as it would reduce there load time drastically.
Also if you see in any clients Relic stats these ajax requests are on top of the list in consuming resources on the server…9 votes

After I used the migration tool to move my WooCommerce to CloudWays/Digital ocean on trial.
My wp-config.php got malformed after this
I got this
And it should be this
define('WPTEMPDIR', ABSPATH . 'wp-content/uploads/');
I corrected this and now I can update my plugins, as I got an error message that the download/streaming folder does not exist or do not has the right permission.
I corrected this manually and this works now.3 votes
