  1. get support/make it easy to open a livechat window

    I'm trialling your stuff as of yesterday and I feel locked out of support. There's a problem with my php settings being inadequate for my woocommerce store but I don't know where to fix it. I'd really just like contact to ask that question but I've been trying for an hour already and getting nowhere.

    Q - would I do the following via your site?
    Woocommerce Visual Products Configurator:
    Your PHP setting maxfileuploads is currently set to 20. We recommand to set this value at least to 100 to avoid any issue with our plugin.

  4. Option to DELETE Team Member.

    Love the ability to add team member. However there's no way to DELETE a team member. Once this team member is added, his/her email is forever associated as a team member to one Cloudway account and there's no way to use this email username for another Cloudways account. Yikes!

  5. Lowercase

    Hello!

    When i hover over the "i" symbol right to "x apps" i get "Domain.Com" at "https://clickngo.cloudways.com/server/list/". I think that it would be better if it was all lowercase. "domain.com".

    When setting up drush alias from local computer, its difficutl to know the URI, remote-host, remote-user

  8. get rid od stupid NewRelic spam emails

    HI. I didn't asked, but you installed Newrelic.OK, but I cannot get rid fof their stupid apex < score alerts. Even If I save mail preferences from their unsubscribe link - I'm still getting the same messages.
    HOW TO GET RID OF IT ??

    Please, check step number 5 (Adjusting Alerting ) of New Relic KB:

    Or step 6 to stop it.

    This week we are going to add option to completely disable it (so not started again on reboot).

    Following community feedback, we are going to deploy it stopped by default on new servers, and when accessing Monitoring → Application tab, you will be prompted to start the service to enable application monitoring.

    We can’t control the alerting default settings when deploying and we are aware that is has created some noise with people with certain applications.

  9. Stop Relic from SPAMMING me

    I'm getting dozens of emails per day from RELIC. When I try to unsubscribe, it takes me to a subscription page (no unsubscribe option). When I look at my services in your applications console, it says it's turned off. I DO NOT WANT THIS SPAM.

    Chris, these issues are better and quicker addressed through our support portal than in the feedback page.

    In any case we have taken a look:

    • New Relic service was started from console. I have now stopped it.
    • Also I have disabled all alerts from your New Relic account, so now you shouldn’t receive any more alerts from New Relic. If at some point you want to use it, you will have to start the service and re-enable the alerts.

    WordPress is spelled with a capitol P. All over Cloudways spells it with a lowercase P.

  11. fixing Magento install

    When I installed Magento - it showed this: http://prntscr.com/61qx05
    Even when I disabled varnish on Magento and cloudways, I was unable to add product to the cart. Empty Cart.
    After few hours - it started to work. But auto-install is corrupted.

    Auto Installation is not corrupted, You will need to disable PageCache by Phoenix (magento extension) to get rid of the scattered text. This you can do it easily from magento admin.

  12. Include Google Compute Engine as a cloud provider

    Include Google Cloud Platform as an Infrastructure Provider. Google's infrastructure is probably the best in the world, and a great alternative to Amazon's AWS and DigitalOcean.

    In addition, it's price can go as low as $6.05/mo.

  13. For WordPress Installation and W3 Total Cache

    The W3 Total Cache plugin, General Settings, should have the Minify and Database Cache methods pre-selected, like the Page Cache, Reverse Proxy

    These should be pre-set like the Page Cache, Reverse Proxy, etc..

    Not a high priority but useful for those new to Cloudways.

  14. get rid of the cell phone requirement

    So I just signed into your service and I know it may be unbelievable but I don't have a cell phone number. I don't see the point of the requirement I could go buy a sim card for $2 - $5 but I honestly just dislike cell phones. I had to enter my wife's number in order to activate my account. I have accounts with both linode and digital ocean and didn't have an issue setting up the account without a cell phone but for some reason it's a problem for you guys. Really dumb. You should remove any impediment…

  17. Support Amazon C3 family instances

    We are paying for an instance that is way over spaced just to acquire the processing capability that a c3.xlarge will provide without the costly RAM which we do not need.

    Prestashop is a process hungry system. If Cloudways professes to be a Prestashop hosting expert I would have thought you would have known this and accommodated the processing power required on a competitive basis.

  20. hire really good information architects & empower them to design great user experiences.

    Technologists are great, where would be without them. But they shouldn't be in charge of IT. If you want usability, you will get it by hiring information professionals (Information Architects, UX Designers, etc.) and giving the power to create great user experiences.
