let users disable PEAR's SSL/TLS forced check in PHP 5.6 to make it compatible with services like Mandrill again.

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/25888550/cant-send-email-with-php-pear-5-6

All in all, using an SMTP server for bulk email is like having a superhero sidekick for your email marketing campaign. just like how Batman would be nothing without Robin, your email campaign would be nothing without an SMTP server to back it up. So go ahead, give your email campaign a boost and watch it soar to new heights with the help of an SMTP server.
