I want to be able to upload/delete/modify my application files from the Click&Go console ( file manager )

There's no File Manager option in your Cloudways admin dashboard. It's very bad thing though! You must have this "File manager" feature. It's a common feature for all the Hosting provider.

Its a needed feature, That was the only thing not available in cloudways while comparing it with siteground. So right now we need to upload the file using any FTP client and access SSH to run the unzip command. A simple file manager will solve this issue.

I suggest you should implement an in-house ftp, or file manager.
In the console we should have a file manager, so we shouldn't have to use clients (like Filezilla) for fpt.

Should add a filemanager function for non techies to access files and folders.

This is my first run with them. I work in information architecture. Happy to say I'm part of a web of boutique investigative research developer teams that work with investors & leading tech giants. We are dedicated to mapping the infrastructure & customer service systems with the new cloud services as there's a lot of waste out there
I'm hoping that Cloudways is a fresh of breath air but first 5 minutes here it's a real bummer to see another blank non responded to/non moderated forum.
Cmon cloudways 2019 isn't the year you want to be weaksauce I promise.

A file browser is also something I'm really missing. It's so more convenient to analyse stuff or mass-delete certain folders than doing this via FTP.

FTPs are very slow .it is more convenient to have a file manager which most hosting platforms do. There we can upload large zipped files with convenience.

An integrated file manager, like the one offered through cPanel

I am surprised this function isn't available. Most I know want to select some files, rightclick and then select ZIP. Then rightclick, and select DOWNLOAD. And then have a button called UPLOAD to select a file from computer and upload it directly.
After an install, I want to select the directory inside the zip-file, and move it to another directory etc.I won't be able to mess around with SSH and putty. Don't have the time, and I feel it's not needed when it's possible to add something like a filemanager.
Using SFTP and transferring 15.000 files takes a while - I don't have time for that either.
Please make a filemanager available!

I totally agree. Being able to view files directly from the Web is very useful. It facilitates much all the work.

To have ability to access the application files right from the dashboard instead of using FTP application, specially when small editing is required to a specific page.

Also, need Folder Access Control for users working in different areas of application. For example, people working on loading products needs access only to media/import folder in Magento

I have started to mess around with FTP client : WinSCP (some like it better than Filezilla) After much research I have settled on WinSCP Really looks alot like the cpanel we are used to. Cloudways have some nice tutorials on setting up the login for an FTP Client.
There are also 2 great file manager plugins that looks like the Cpanel file manager, but in your Dashboard.
I now understand that Cpanel wastes lots of resources and slows down our sites. Most traditional hosts sell the glitter and cover up all the lack of speed. Glitter sells, but I hear Google loves speed. -

I just signed up for a trial and the lack of file manager is big downer. Simple tasks like Zip a file or folder and download it becomes a nightmare. You have to resort to using Putty and command prompt? :(

Maybe try Git & Gitlab.com?
