allow bash profiles
As a developer I'm drawn to hosts where I can set up my own bash profiles and use ssh, so I can recreate the same workflow on many sites. Would appreciate the ability to do so here.
I'm in the habit of binding "rm" to "rm -i" for one thing, which is all of a sudden a very dangerous habit that I'm in.
I don't know the security risks very well to allowing profile creation, but I've seen many hosts allow it.

I'm surprised this has only 5 votes in over 3 years. I really REALLY need to add aliases to my profile as well as the permissions to write any file in MY home directory. Why is this root owned ?!
