Disable Vanish by default.
It never works out of the box and always causes errors on anything but the simplest sites.
I always have to disable it on most sites whilst uploading, file scanning etc.

I don't agree at all. I have enabled it successfully on my WooCommerce WPML site; not issues whatsoever.
