Read only user for database
It would be nice to have a read only user for the database so that people that need to perform SELECT queries don't use the admin user to log in.

Yes this would be very helpful to do this via the panel although cloudways support will help you set this up.

Yep, to go once step further to limit the user to specific tables. Some times you just want to provide access to a few select thing in the Database.

This should be a simple feature to implement. Without it, it's unsafe to grant access to the DB to a customer, or even through an online query editor.

I second that. I like to have a look in my production database at times to make sure all is working well but am nervous about accidental data modification.
