White Label Domain
For agencys, it would be great for us to be able to globally white label the URL
For example,
from:
wordpress-000000-000000.cloudwaysapps.com
to:
000000-000000.mydomain.com

Change the URL after launching it. Do this and you'll be good to go:
With the domain you want to use, point a wildcard A record to your server IP. Then you can set the application domain as the subdomain you want - without having to add the record at your domain registrar.

In order to change the domain DNS dynamically, they explained that this was not possible before. If our nameserver records could be pointed to cloudways, we could set up a whitelabel temp url by letting them alter the DNS records as needed.

Or even if it was something like tempapps.com and not domain specific

this you can simply do by adding subdomain in cloudways domain management

we usually add a subdomain as the main domain for that application
here's an example
our main domain is anvorte.com
our client's test website uses getavida.anvorte.com
you just need to add the DNS record getavida and point it to your VPS IP Address
then add the getavida.anvorte.com at the application settings domain name
If you need help setting up just send us an email [email protected]

This feature is available with siteground, they do give a temporary domain based on the primary domain.

They have stated this is not possible before as it require's access to the domain DNS to dynamically make changes.
This would be possible if we were able to point the our nameserver records to cloudways which would give them access to adjust the DNS records as required and as such would allow us to create a whitelabel temp url.
