Support for Swoole / FrankenPHP as an alternative to PHP-FPM
It would be great if Cloudways could offer optional support for Swoole or FrankenPHP as alternatives to the default PHP-FPM stack. These modern PHP application servers can significantly improve performance, reduce response times, and lower infrastructure costs by keeping the framework in memory and handling requests more efficiently.
Many PHP hosting providers and platforms already support these options or make them easy to deploy — for example, Laravel Octane includes built-in support for Swoole and FrankenPHP, and several hosts like Clever Cloud and Upsun already offer FrankenPHP deployments as part of their platform stack for high-performance apps.
Cloudways supporting these would help developers run Laravel/Symfony/modern PHP apps faster and more cost-effectively without custom workarounds.
