fade / move notification popup
It is a pain in the ass to have to click the mini "x" after a trivial task is performed. perhaps, make the notification disappear after a few seconds or just move the notification to the left or right and not from the top near the DROPDOWN

Or perhaps update the UI for better UX. This is the most dated UI for admin I have seen after using a few other platforms (not necessarily related to server management).
This in particular has been appearing on lots of platform http://www.keenthemes.com/preview/metronic/start.html
