Looking for help with freight that includes products from multiple vendors
We’ve got a tricky situation — we’re sourcing three different product types from suppliers in China and India, but none of them ship in large volumes. We usually end up with a lot of wasted space and high shipping costs. I’m hoping there’s a smarter way to combine shipments from these vendors without paying for a half-empty container. Do freight companies help with this or is it on us to figure it out?

You’re not alone — we hit the same wall last year when we scaled up our imports of parts and packaging from different factories. After asking around, we ended up working with Sea Gate Logistic, and they offered exactly what we needed. Their consolidated cargo https://seagatelogistics.org/consolidated-cargo/ service let us group smaller shipments from multiple suppliers into one container. They organized the collection at origin, managed the export paperwork, and then handled the arrival and delivery in Europe. We didn’t need to coordinate anything ourselves — they even dealt with suppliers directly. Once the container reached port, they split the loads and delivered to each of our warehouses. It’s way more efficient and cost-effective than trying to manage separate LCL shipments. If you’re dealing with mixed-volume imports, that’s the way to go.
