I built a proactive Telegram Bot for 1-Click Management & Security š
Hey Cloudways Team! š
I love the Cloudways platform, but let's be honest: when a server spikes or a malicious bot is hammering an app, having to open a browser, log in, pass 2FA, and navigate the dashboard just to restart a service or block an IP takes precious time.
So, I built a solution. I created a custom Telegram Bot powered by Cloudflare Workers that acts as a proactive, pocket-sized sysadmin for my team. It interacts seamlessly with the Cloudways API, and the results have been game-changing.
Here is a tease of what it does straight from our Telegram group chat:
šØ Proactive Monitoring & Alerts: Instead of us checking the server, the server talks to us. The bot sends automated, beautifully formatted reports on CPU/RAM spikes and traffic surges directly to our team chat.
ā” Zero-Friction Management: Need to restart Apache, MySQL, or the whole server? We just type a command (/m), tap an inline button in the Telegram chat, and it's done. No dashboard login required.
š”ļø 1-Click Scraper Squashing (CPU Saver!): This is the killer feature. The bot analyzes top traffic IPs, cross-references geolocation and User-Agents, and presents a "suspect profile" in the chat. With one tap, we can ban a scraper IP across the network. Our CPU usage has dropped significantly just by easily filtering out garbage bot traffic.
āļø Edge-Powered: Because it runs on Cloudflare Workers, itās lightning-fast, serverless, and doesn't consume a single byte of our Cloudways servers' resources to run.
Why Cloudways needs this:
Managing servers collaboratively inside a group chat where the whole team can see alerts and actions in real-time is the future of DevOps for agencies and developers.
Right now, this codebase is custom-tailored to my specific infrastructure and workflow, but the underlying engine using your API is solid. It can absolutely be adapted, standardized, and scaled into an official or supported feature for the broader Cloudways community.
If the Product Team is interested in seeing a live demo of how this transforms the Cloudways UX, or wants to explore how we can turn this concept into a native integration, reach out to me! Let's build something awesome together. š

Really impressive project! š The proactive alerts, one-click management, and scraper-blocking features solve real-world operational challenges and make server administration much more efficient. Running it on Cloudflare Workers is a smart touch too. As someone who enjoys simulation and management games like Bus Simulator and Bus Simulator Indonesia, this almost feels like bringing that same control-panel experience into real-world infrastructure managementāexcept the decisions actually impact live servers. Great work, and it would be awesome to see Cloudways explore something like this officially!

This is actually a really smart and practical approach. Managing servers through a Telegram bot with proactive alerts and quick actions can save a lot of time, especially during traffic spikes or security issues. I also like how you used Cloudflare Workers to keep everything lightweight and efficient at the edge.
Iām also using Cloudflare for my own website and have been exploring performance optimization and traffic handling concepts recently. While doing that, I came across some useful insights here: https://indonesiabusplay.com
