Enhanced One-Click Backup and Restore for Individual Applications: A Smarter Way to Manage Cloud Servers
Managing multiple apps on one server can be risky when backups are only available at the server level. If one app breaks, restoring the whole server can affect other websites, cause data loss, and increase downtime. This makes simple tasks like testing plugins or updates stressful and time-consuming, especially for developers and agencies handling multiple projects.
A one-click backup and restore option for individual applications solves this problem by letting users fix only the affected app without touching others. It makes testing safer, speeds up recovery, improves workflow, and keeps other sites running smoothly. For platforms like Cloudways, adding this…

Built-in A/B Testing for Landing Pages Without Third-Party Tools
Many websites, including online tools such as random wheel generators, rely on testing different headlines, layouts, colors, and call-to-action buttons to improve engagement and conversions.
It would be valuable if Cloudways offered a lightweight built-in A/B testing feature that allows users to:
Create multiple versions of a page
Split traffic automatically between variations
Track conversions and engagement metrics
Declare a winning version with one click
Run tests without installing external plugins or servicesThis would help website owners optimize performance and user experience directly from the Cloudways platform while reducing dependence on third-party tools.

Elastic Email's SMTP email service
At the moment, Elastic Email's SMTP email service can only be enabled at the account level. In my situation, tho, I use a single account to oversee more than fifty live servers. Because of this, tracking the cost of email consumption for each project is very challenging.
Instead of activating the SMTP add-on for the entire account, I would really like to be able to do it for each server. I could then distribute email volumes according to the usage of each server. For instance, I might let 12,000 emails for Server Y and 50,000 emails for Server X. I…

Cloudways
If I could implement it for every server, it would be ideal. After that, I could allocate email volumes based on each server's utilization. For example, I could set Server Y to receive 12,000 emails and Server X to receive 50,000. Using this configuration, I could determine the exact cost per server and bill my clients accordingly.
Since I would have to cover the full cost myself, it is no longer feasible for me to provide this add-on to my customers. For Cloudways users like me who utilize your infrastructure to handle several client projects, having server-level control over this…

Add Per-Application Resource Usage Dashboard
It would be very helpful if Cloudways provided detailed resource usage metrics on a per-application basis instead of only server-level statistics.
Suggested metrics:
CPU usage by application
RAM consumption
Disk I/O
PHP worker utilization
Database query performance
Historical resource graphs (24 hours, 7 days, 30 days)This would make it much easier to identify which application is causing high resource usage, troubleshoot performance issues, and make informed scaling decisions without relying on third-party monitoring tools.
I believe this feature would be especially valuable for users hosting multiple websites on the same server.

: Option to restrict SSH/SFTP access per application by specific IP addresses
Currently, we can whitelist IPs at the master server level, but it would be incredibly helpful for agency security workflows in geometry dash subzero: https://geometrydashsubzero.io if we could enforce IP whitelisting for SSH/SFTP credentials at the individual Application level.
This would allow us to safely grant external contractors access to a specific staging app without worrying about them accessing other apps on the same server, even if they somehow get a hold of the master credentials. Is this granular security control on the Cloudways roadmap?1 vote -
Add an Asset Version Comparison Tool After Deployments
Many deployment issues aren't caused by server configuration, they're caused by outdated or mismatched frontend assets (CSS, JavaScript, fonts, etc.) that continue to be served after a deployment.
It would be very useful if Cloudways added an Asset Version Comparison tool within the application dashboard.
The feature could:
Compare asset hashes before and after deployment.
Show whether CSS/JS files are being served from the latest deployment.
Detect stale assets still being delivered because of cache or CDN propagation.
Display response headers (ETag, Cache-Control, Last-Modified) for static files.
Allow developers to test a URL from multiple edge locations.I recently investigated…

CSS Grid & Frontend Design Rendering Test
When deciding between Cloudways and Elastic Service, the visual rendering speed of your frontend is just as important as backend stability. Frontend developers frequently run Core Web Vitals audits on image-heavy, highly styled lifestyle platforms like https://menxstyle.com/ to observe how cloud server optimization impacts cumulative layout shift and first contentful paint under heavy traffic.

Dynamic Calculator & Script Execution Test
To evaluate real-time computation speeds on Cloudways versus Elastic Service, testing an interactive client-side tool is highly effective. Engineering teams benchmark script execution times on complex web-based modules, such as the data-driven framework operating at https://habitburgermenu.net/habit-burger-nutrition-calculator/, to observe how hardware resource allocation impacts user interaction times.

Cloudways: Smarter Cache Control & Security UI
Cloudways currently lacks granular cache management and self-service security configuration, which limits developer efficiency. Adding per-URL or per-file cache purging would allow targeted invalidation instead of full-site flushes, improving performance and speeding up development workflows.
Additionally, exposing key ModSecurity settings like request body limits through a simple UI would reduce reliance on support tickets and give developers more control over application tuning.
These updates would make Cloudways more flexible, efficient, and developer-friendly for production environments.

Improve Cloudways: Add Per-File Cache Purge and UI Controls for ModSecurity Settings
Currently, Cloudways only allows full cache purging, which is inefficient for developers working on custom PHP applications or using Cloudflare Enterprise. It would be much more practical to support clearing cache by specific file or URL. This would save time, reduce unnecessary cache flushing, and improve development and debugging workflows, especially for large or frequently updated projects.
In addition, ModSecurity settings such as SecRequestBodyNoFilesLimit and SecRequestBodyLimit currently require support assistance to modify. Providing a simple UI to manage these common security parameters would greatly improve flexibility and reduce dependency on support teams.
These improvements would make Cloudways more developer-friendly and…

One-Click Lightweight App Deployment & Distribution (Inspired by Micro APK Platforms like CCPlay)
Hi Cloudways Team,
I’d like to پیشنهاد an idea that could expand Cloudways’ capabilities beyond traditional web hosting into lightweight app distribution and deployment.
Platforms like CCPlay https://ccplay.app focus on delivering a minimal, fast, and efficient experience for distributing Android applications (APK) directly to users. A similar concept could be adapted within Cloudways by introducing a one-click deployment system for lightweight apps or downloadable packages.
💡 Proposed Idea:
Enable developers to host and distribute APKs or lightweight app packages directly from Cloudways
Provide secure, fast CDN-backed download links
Add version control and update management for distributed files
Include basic analytics…1 vote -
