You must Add reset permissions to application level via UX
Most times your support does any work on my behalf the permissions get messed up and then have to recontact support to set permissions to application level. This is an extremely frustrating restriction on the user and is making me consider to switch hosts. I really suggest you add a self serve option to the UX sooner rather than later.

Adding a reset permissions option at the application level via UX would greatly enhance user convenience, reducing the need to contact support repeatedly. A self-serve feature allows users to manage permissions seamlessly, just like utilizing FRP bypass (https://gsmneo-frp.com.mx/) methods to regain access to devices without unnecessary delays. Implementing this improvement can enhance customer satisfaction and prevent users from considering alternative services. 🚀

Hi,
Since we joined Cloudways the only thing that has seriously let this platform down is the consistant permission errors ( And all the havoc caused with it ). Its a real shame because these servers are some of the quickest i've used ... when they are running right.
I've been told recently that they are looking into it, I really hope they get to the bottom of it.

You're wrong, Paul, this button is not resetting permissions at application level.

The constant messing of file ownership has been an ongoing problem on CW for years.
But FYI - there is a button for you to manually reset ownership/permissions yourself.
In the specific application's Application Management Dashboard > Application Settings there is a button for Reset Permission. (Support should have been able to tell you this - it's required A LOT.)
