You must Add reset permissions to application level via UX
Most times your support does any work on my behalf the permissions get messed up and then have to recontact support to set permissions to application level. This is an extremely frustrating restriction on the user and is making me consider to switch hosts. I really suggest you add a self serve option to the UX sooner rather than later.

I strongly recommend adding a self-serve option to reset permissions at the application level via UX. Every time support steps in, permissions often get misconfigured, and I have to reach out again—which is frustrating. A simple fix like this would greatly improve the user experience. Services like https://gsm-neofrp.com.mx/ already prioritize user control and efficiency—something worth considering here too.

Hi,
Since we joined Cloudways the only thing that has seriously let this platform down is the consistant permission errors ( And all the havoc caused with it ). Its a real shame because these servers are some of the quickest i've used ... when they are running right.
I've been told recently that they are looking into it, I really hope they get to the bottom of it.

You're wrong, Paul, this button is not resetting permissions at application level.

The constant messing of file ownership has been an ongoing problem on CW for years.
But FYI - there is a button for you to manually reset ownership/permissions yourself.
In the specific application's Application Management Dashboard > Application Settings there is a button for Reset Permission. (Support should have been able to tell you this - it's required A LOT.)
