Enable Elasticsearch 7.6, Magento 2.4 requires it and MySQL is no longer supported for search
Please enable Elasticsearch 7.6, because Magento 2.4 requires it and MySQL is no longer supported for search at all. This is a must to have or I have to transfer all Magento installations to another provider.

It looks as if this is now ready to roll. Has anyone installed 2.4 on cloudways with MariaDB instead of MySQL? Im curious, as Mage DevDocs recommend MySQL 8 or MariaDB 10.4, and only Maria is available on cloudways.

Hi, we need to know how much we have to wait: 1 week, 1 month, 1 year.... because we have to go to production with a magento 2.4 and now it doesn't work as aspected due to this limitation.
It's really important for us to know -

Hello!
It is a pity, we plan to migrate this week, but you will not have any dates to meet the requirements for Magento 2.4. your answer is not acceptable for a company that is proud to say that it supports Magento.
Go with many interested customers:
I think it's better, you change your attitude towards Magento 2.4. You will lose many customers with using Magento.
The improvements in this version are advantageous for users.I don't understand how you treat customers who have Magento this way.

For anyone interested, I have been speaking to our customer success manager, and have been informed that the Cloudways DevOps team is working on this.

As above, we would need to move to another provider for all our Magento installations unless this is prompty updated.

Desperately looking for this to be upgraded ASAP so we can upgrade to 2.4.
** UPDATE **
Just had a response to a ticket which basically says 'tough luck' which im a bit surprised about if I am honest. Was happy with Cloudways up until now. -
