I want more options for backup frequency (bi-weekly, monthly, hourly, every six hours ...) and be able to keep more than one backup deep

Added 1h, 3h, 6h and 12h new backup frequencies.

I have my backup set for every two days. I do not know what days or at what time. Can this backup procedure be a cron job instead? If so, I could then schedule my backups as needed.

Also: Ability to DELETE unneeded backups!
I'm not only paying for backup space for backups that I no longer need..
It's Eating up my Storage space to do Work.
I need to reclaim this storage space.
How Long will I need to WAIT for now irrelevant backups to Clear Out?If I buy more storage space to compensate, then I'm paying for this Dead storage space Twice! Actually, Much more than twice, because the next level of storage is a grand jump in price.
Cool we can create on-demand backups.
NOT Coool that we cannot Delete Unwanted Backups !

- 'give a point-in-time restore option'
- 'extra storage charges to customers' (extra backup option for extra charge is reasonable), Its good if everyone pay what he use, not everybody pay what someone use. These two points and I m sure, everyone will be satisfied

Tomek, you don't want to store the backups with your server. It goes against the sense of backups.
We could certainly increase the retention options for backups beyond 15 days. We will consider it but we will have to pass extra storage charges to customers.
But first priority is to give a point-in-time restore option for the whole set of backups available. We are already on it and hopefully will be released in coming weeks.

BTW: if I have 30GB in cloud > why i cannot use it for backup ???

Yes. I saw many cloud hostings. but backup in Cloudways is really poor. Eight days for copies ? Sorry > I just got malware on Digital Ocean, that activated after month. and the only way to fix it was to rollback to copy from -2month ago. SO, if I have the same problem in Cloudways - I'm totally down with it...

This would be helpful, now I m really not sure what backup is available, if my backup or automated backup which is made every day ...
Some kind of management of backups will be helpful ... also add date/time to backup that I know what I m rolling out :) -

Backups happen automatically on a daily basis and they are stored in AWS S3.
We already store 15 days worth of backups (incremental). The only part missing is the front-end part to restore point in time backups. This will be coming soon.
As per what to backup, backups is at server level, and as of now, we plan to keep it like this.

Does the backup actually automatically work? I know from with the server tab there is the backup options where you can define backup frequency but in my experience the only backups happen when i click the run backup now button.
Also again it would be good to specify S3 or Rackspace CloudFiles as places to send backup files, and also have the ability to decide which app to backup on which server.

It would be great also to have an option where to specify an S3 account we can send the backup files to.

Yes! And to be able to control how long the backups are kept before deletion.
