Are you guys ever going to figure this one out? You have hundreds of people asking for this simple feature. This is the #1 reason I'm not migrating ALL of my sites to you and upgrading my server further.

We really need of file manager as many people are non-technical. So it would be a great option for them to upload/edit/delete files easily without using any third-party software. It's an important part of hosting; here is the reason some people dont prefer cloudways as cloudways dont have a file manager for people's ease.

This is essential. I can't believe there isn't one looking at the backend UI. I thought I'd missed it somehow.

File Manager will be a good addition to the platform, like other hosting e.g. hostingers have their own file manager system. This is very difficult when anyone access her website's files, then they will have to install filezilla & connect to the Cloudways server. And, also difficult in uploading files from a system to a cloudway server.....Also, files are uploading on server very slowly. one more thing when we have to upload .zip file on it & extract it this will not be done....first we have to extract on our computer & then upload.

A file manager is a must-have. Alex (below) nicely described the advantages over SFTP.

I run two agencies and we're considering moving our substantial client base over to Cloudways, for all WordPress development.

We need to know this feature is on the product roadmap, or we'll likely have to choose Kinsta, SiteGround, WP Engine, or SiteGround.

Please add a File Manager - rather than only being able to use FTP.

this is a much-needed feature. please add this ASAP.
We are managing multiple websites and multiple servers with cloudways. SFTP is really slow.
we sometimes need to compress and decompress files on the server, sometimes we need to upload compressed files to the server.

I prefer the safety of sFTP over a file manager

Cloudways, in my opinion, is not a tech business; they just utilise other cloud hosting companies and have managed to integrate their services in some manner. Are they unable to create a basic file manager? What makes me think I can trust them with my cloud solution? This is nonsense. I was taken aback and began exploring for another host that offered a comparable cloud service and included a File Manager. Kinsta gets close, however they only utilise Google Cloud Server and are too costly. Is there anything else that meets this requirement??

This needs to get into the planning stage. From the perspective of a small agency (me) who just selected to move 40+ sites to Cloudways, not having a file manager is a huge issue for me. I'm not fluent in SSH, I'm having constant issues with BlogVault migrations failing, plus I can not effectively restore a site using Backup Buddy like I've done for years.
Since I'm only three or four sites into this process, I'm thinking of pulling the plug on moving to Cloudways.

I signed up with cloudways thinking its the best cloud hosting company out there. But where the f*ck is File Manager? Are you kidding me? How can a best hosting company not have a file manager? Just freaking disgusting! and if they think they are best, can't they build one? Every host has beautiful file manager like Kinsta and SiteGround have built their own. I think Cloudways are not tech company, they just use other cloud hosting company and have managed to somehow link their services. Are they incapable of building a simple file manager? How can i trust them for my cloud solution? This is bullshit. I got a big surprise and looking for another host that provides similar cloud service and have File Manager. I think Kinsta comes closer but they use only Google Cloud Server and are damn expensive. Is there any other options that cater to this need??
