    node.js with npm is needed for bower.. or maybe there is another frontend package manager we could use

    Struggling to comprehend that a serious company doesn't offer node support. Eliminates basic web workflow systems such as gulp.

    I'm not familiar with MEANjs. My main purpose for voting on Node.js integration is to use Meteor.js.

    Meteor does use MongoDB and Node. I think this would still miss the mark for what I'm trying to use, but if you say Meteor will work with MEAN then I'm all for it.

    I could agree with that. It's the primary stack pattern I use when creating NodeJS applications
