Select Amazon EC2 Instance Type
Provide an option to select EC2 type, like m3, C1, etc..

During free trial you can just deploy a small instance but with a full account you can deploy small, medium, large, x-large and 2x-xlarge. It is one of the steps when launching a server (in fact step is there already in trial but slider is blocked on small instance).

So are you saying that there is an option to select the m3 instance while deplying an ec2? I didn't notice during my free trial.

This option is already available (within the m3 family and m1.small). We may add additional instance families in the future.
