Starting today, Woocommerce, a popular e-commerce platform, is ready for deployment with a fully functioning varnish layer. This means that the platform is equipped with an efficient caching mechanism, provided by Varnish, to enhance its performance and speed. The varnish layer helps optimize the delivery of web pages, resulting in faster load times and improved user experience. With this feature in place, businesses can now leverage the benefits of woocommerce service while ensuring a smooth and responsive online shopping experience for their customers.

But varnish doesn't work with https so what is the point? I'd like my shop to be fully secured but that means it will also be very slow!

That's great, but will we be able to convert existing WP apps to WC apps?
Also is there an ETA on this?

This is as simple as excluding a few urls. I can't see any reason for it to have compatibilty issue with current stack. Support chat doesn't say why it is not compatible.
