For WordPress Installation and W3 Total Cache
The W3 Total Cache plugin, General Settings, should have the Minify and Database Cache methods pre-selected, like the Page Cache, Reverse Proxy
These should be pre-set like the Page Cache, Reverse Proxy, etc..
Not a high priority but useful for those new to Cloudways.

Closing this one as proper necessary settings to get maximum Wordpress performance are already deployed by default.
Just as a sneak-peak, we are going to roll in 1-2 month a new tab in the console (named Stream or something) with alerts, notifications and so. One of the alerts that we will raise, will be when we detect that an application is not properly optimized for caching (i.e. doesn't have our settings of choice). This can happen i.e. when a customer overwrites our own deployment with his/her files. We will offer along with the alert something like a "Fix It" button that will re-apply our performance settings to that specific application.
We hope will make many users that now run under-performing applications much happier.

I only did what Cloudways support instructed me to do. I asked if the Minify and Database should have cache selected.
The Cloudways support instructed me to use APC for Minify and Memcache for Database. I haven't noticed any worse performance as it is already fast. Sometimes when logged in, I did notice some latency. Probably due to the admin bar.
Note: I also have Amazon CloudFront CDN enabled.

In our tests, minify is giving trouble with varnish (if you have it enabled) and database cache doesn't improve performance. Anyway, contacting you directly so we can get more specific data on how you have implemented and the performance change you have seen.

Hi Koomohost, can you say me which settings do you use?
Thanks :)
