Ability to have backups not dependent on server being backed up
Was recently told that restoring backups are 100% dependent on a server being functional. I believe we should be able to spin up a new server from a backup without having the original server 100% up and running. I understand it takes time to fix issues with a server, but if it is quicker to change servers, I want to be able to do that. Your engineers can fiddle with fixing things in their own time. I need my servers up.

Slow queries debug guide
I would suggest your team to make some extensive guide on how to debug like slow redirects, slow ajax calls or slow checkout/order processing, long TTFBs etc ... everything that debug bar cant show, often even slow log cant show why it is happening ...
Especially now where you changes support policy to not helping people with such cases ... I honestly cant find any reliable guide that would help to learn solving this issues and not paying hundreds and thousands for developers

Enable less strong *staging site* passwords
Hi
I notice that recently you have put in place tools which force a strong username and password for staging sites. Previously the username and password could be anything at all.
I'd like to suggest that you should roll back this change. Although (of course!) I am wholly in agreement that passwords should be strong in almost all cases, I believe that staging sites should have an option for this not to be the case.
Why?
Mainly - because the most obvious use case here is for sharing with a client. Whereas we could previously have for instance "demo" and…

install mysql / mariadb timezone database / tables by default
the timezone database is not filled by default: so these queries fail:
SELECT CONVERT_TZ( "2019-08-26 07:06:09",'Europe/Amsterdam', 'UTC');
Please make an option to install / update the timezone database

Simpler Account Verification Process
Regarding Cloudways' account verification process, please consider changing this system. I can no longer suggest my clients to use a company that doesn't put the server online within the hour. A 24-48 hours time period to get the server online it's nonsense. You guys really need to figure out another way to do this faster and easier. Also, to send documents for account verification by email is very rudimentar, I don't see this method for account verification anywhere else. Maybe upload documents on the website? Maybe let user know how long it will actually take to get the server online?…

Automatically copy symlinks from git repo
At present if there are symlinks within a git repository they are not copied over into the project. An admin then needs to manually go into the app and recreate the symlinks. It would be great if those links were copied over automatically when pulling in a git repo.

Need more improvements: 1. White label and resellaer option 2. LSWS cache 3. Backup storages as free cloud storages such as GDrive, OneDrive
Need more improvements:
1. White label and resellaer option
2. LSWS cache
3. Backup storages as free cloud storages such as GDrive, OneDrive (AWS S3 is expensive for large capacity)
4. Ability to create client accounts (not enough team accounts)
5. Inbuilt file manager feature.
6. Application level PHP version change facility.
7. Inbuilt load average monitoring facility.I think that's all. If you really want to beat cPanel and Plesk.

Give color to the url text or background of a staging site to give a visual indication that you are working in the staging envornment
When working in a staging environment it is difficult to know visually if you are really there. At best the only way to know currently is to remember the cloudways assigned url. I suggest that coloring the url text or background of the url yellow (or any other color) would make it easier to know what environment one is working on. I know there is a wordpress plugin that does this so if it can't be done via the url text or background maybe some other way.

Remove outdated documentation / support articles
Suggest removing older version of documentation on a topic -or- refer to the newer version -or- state in the most recent version what has changed. Example: The Lets Encrypt documentation has changed. The 2018 and older version talks about having to setup a DNS _acme-challenge record. The 2019 version does not mention the need for it (I like that!). But ... which version is the correct one? One would assume the latest but we all make mistakes so clarity through simplification (remove old docs) would be appreciated! Btw, Lets Encrypt feature is great!

Cronjob not user and application friendly
We are happy with cloudway support and services. But i found a major drawback there with cronjob setup. We can't setup cronjobs there as command line. Like in cakephp project we need to run console command like Console/cake Marketplaces runshellcommand, But it doesn't accept it, Now a days all frameworks need a console command to run for cronjob, But this feature not available there.
2) I didn't found a way for File manager, Where if possible we can edit files online, rather than connect with FTP.Please add 2 features there, Would be good for applications and user point of…

Make it easy to switch from other providers
I have an account with another managed service provider and I'm interested in switching to CloudWays.
The server is Vultr, and I have quite a few sites with them. Based off chat w/ support, there is no easy way to do this.
Since I have quite a few sites there, the level of effort to switch to CloudWays is putting me off from doing so.
I already use CW for one of my servers, and it'd be nice to consolidate, if the migration process would be easier.

confirmatio mail
My verification mail does not arrive, I already tried different emails, I left message on the support and nothing. They seemed like a good company, but the support is lacking, and the registration system is very bureaucratic. If you can not even activate a subscription, how can I trust that they will take good care of my site. I found it very unkind, they lost a client. It seems that they are not even interested in selling.

Make server sharing work again
Please make it possible to access a server from multiple accounts, or allow me to use the same email address to access multiple accounts. I keep using up my email addresses to start client projects and can't re-use them.

redirect users back to where they were before session timeout
As a developer, i am continously pushing changes via git deployment interface, but throughout the day my session ends and i am logged out.
When i log back in i have to go finding my application and git screen again.
It would be great if the cloudways interface could remember where i was when the expired session logs me out, and when i log back in it remembers then i can perform the git pull i tried to do before i was logged out.
Or better yet an option to set my own timeout values as that kind of security…

Canceled due to horrible support
Hi,
I have canceled my plan due to the horrible support:
Non-English speakers, most of the time I couldn't even understand what your support staff is trying to say. Please hire people that at least know some basic English. That happened on multiple occasions.
Terrible advices. I've never seen so bad advices from a hosting provider.
Weak passwords. I've never seen a hosting that is forcing its customers not to use upper case for its passwords. That was brutal.
Support randomly closed tickets after failing to explain what they want to say.
I am a technical person and I do…
