4. Deceptive, dishonest practice regarding your Malware Scanner

   More of a complaint than a question. Recently I have received very scary emails that a site has malware. When I go tot he malware page on Cloudways it tells that there was a database injection, and in very scary red letters it says the site is infected, and urges me to activate Cloudways Malware Protection, which of course cost money. Now many people are going to be scared by that, not know how to actually investigate, and will just activate your Malware protection. I investigated. The "malware" was a handful of comments from 2014 that link to an old blogspot blog. Seriously? I removed them, mainly to stop your nagging.     It's very simple. The staging workflow is a bit of a mess. Creating the staging site is easy, but managing it from there is a hassle. Here's some instant improvements to make it better (using Wordpress as the application type in this example):

    1. On the live application, under the Staging Management tab, add a link to the staging application, and vice versa on the staging application. It might actually also be nice if there was a button that linked to the staging WP-Admin area under the live application's Access Details pane, and the button was just titled "Staging Admin". The button only shows if a staging environment was created. That way, the Admin Panel login details are right there to reference still, but the link to get into the WP-Admin area of the staging site is just a click away and doesn't require switching between applications on Cloudways to get the needed URLs.

    2. On the staging application, there should be an Admin Panel area under the Access Details tab, just like on the live application, which should have a link to the WP-Admin area, as well as the username and password that is pulled directly from the live application. This is obvious because if you need a staging environment, it's to work on the backend, not view the frontend.

15. Stop an application but keep the files

    I would love to "STOP" an application, but keep it there for a while.

    The use case is that I may build a new website under a different application, but I want to keep the old one in case I need to access any past files.

18. Application Quick List

    We seriously need a better way to view application faster. I have over 400 application and multiple servers. Currently all I can do is flip throug 10 application at a time, which takes to long. Also if I select an application, i have to restart and flip through the list again to where I left off.

    Also there needs to be a way we can copy the list or downoload to a spreadsheet, we used to able to do this in the past, but now it doesnt seem possible. Here is what I would like to see in the list.

    1. Server Name
    2. Application Name
    3. Application URL or Domain
    4. The current IP address or whether the IP is pointing to us or not.

20. Memcache Enable / Disable

    I would recommend that at the server level, there's a way to turn off memcache. I'm sure anyone using WordPress for their applications aren't using it and i'd be that's most of the customers here and they therefore aren't taking advantage of it because Redis Object Cache Pro is part of the default stack.

    We can do that with Redis, New Relic, Varnish, and some other services. Why not Memcache to save server resources?
