This makes a lot of sense. Maintaining hosts file entries across machines and environments is error-prone and doesn’t scale well.
A dedicated testing URL per server keeps configuration cleaner, reduces local setup overhead, and makes switching between environments far easier especially for QA and CI pipelines.

Alex, we already provide a FQDN under cloudwaysapps.com domain for each application.
You can find it in Application tab under Application URL (before you map a primary domain).
Assume this is what you refer to as testing URL.
