Client Specific Billing - Allow us to charge clients for App monthly or anually

This feature is a must, I'm surprised it hasn't caught on any attention. I have a server with 25 applications each one for different clients. I have to keep a log of how much each client has to pay every month or year. If we could do this directly in Cloudways it would be great.

    I'm writing software for multiple clients, each with their own server, and not being able to allow them to sign up to pay for their own server hosting is a royal pain that I wish I didn't have to deal with.

    I think this is such a fundamental need. I have had clients move out of Cloudways for this issue in specific. Not sure why this isn't already a feature. It is an essential thing to have. Come on guys.

    I hadn't event thought of this, as being provided by Cloudways. I just finished building a whole system for this using a popular billing platform with recurring payments. I guess it would have been pretty convenient to just have it here.

    I +1 this idea. Also, with 28 votes it would be nice to have some feedback on where cloudways stands with this idea.

    Think it's great that I can transfer a server between accounts to a new client so they can pay in their new account but I just wonder if Cloudways should compartmentalise the payment area incase clients who fiddle delete their server by mistake. I am a little weary of them in their own account playing with stuff. They just need to pay and shouldn't be worried about servers. Most of them freak out when I mention they can delete their server by accident if not careful. Per another member's suggestion send them a payment link while maintaining the server securely

    This is absolutely something Cloudways should implement. It is what is stopping me from using this on a larger scale.

    Yes!!!! it would be great to have billing at the server or application level. Ideally be able to add a team member who is able to add billing for that server or application.

    We manage websites for our clients and would like the ability to add a client as a billing team member so they get the invoice. however we would like to be able to set a markup cost to the server to cover our management costs.

    Could you guys add in a client billing feature like they have at https://wpoven.com/?
    You can enter clients attached to applications and bill them monthly through the site control panel. It would be the cherry on top for Cloudways.
