Is there any way to move applications to a different account?

This is awesome. :-) - Really impressed about your progress these months.

This is now live. In the Application tab, if you click on clone for any application you can now choose:

* Clone on same server.
* Clone to new server.
* Clone to any other existing server in your account.

So glad this is being worked on! This'll make it so much easier for my team to start a new project.

We are talking two different functionalities here:

Clone (same account) - Expand current functionality to allow for cloning of single app to new/existing server.

Transfer (different account) - New functionality in which you can transfer a full server or a single application to a new server in a DIFFERENT C&G account.

Moving a server to a new account can be helpful. Server and whatever apps are on it - right to a new account.

That would be helpful when you have a clients project and you are done with that client and project and wish to move the whole thing into their control.

Very helpful in this case.

Hello Fellow Productive Peeps

I'd very much like to be able to move entire apps and their databases easy breezy.

Additionally, Moving an app to a clean server and placing that server in a new customer account would be the absolute bomb explosion of happiness. Sometimes it is immensely helpful to take a client project, put it a basket and save it for a rainy day or send it on its way. Gone - Done - Endo of Story. :) It's a freedom from strife.

Cloning would be useful, however one very powerful feature would be to be able to move (not just clone) an application, domains connected to it (not the dns but the domain in the control panel), ssl etc to a different server with a single click, so all you have to do is to update the dns with a new ip.

Being able to move wordpress installs around servers easily would be a killer feature that is difficult to replicate without a similar infrastructure like cloudways.
