Easy integration with cloudflare installing mod_cloudflare
It is possible to make cloudways work with cloudflare providing an additional level of protection against DDoS attacks and catching. It is just an issue of making cloudflare DNS point to the public address of the application on cloudways.
But there is an issue that needs to be resolved. The IP address that cloudways sees on $SERVER['REMOTEADDR'] is cloudflare IPs and not the clients IPs. This has a server impact specially in Ëurope with the tax on virtual products where the country of the customer needs to be verified by his IP (plus another non conflicting prove).
By installing the modcloudflare on the cloudways server $SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'] will have the clients IP instead of cloudflare's IP solving this legal issue in Europe.
This has been done. You can activate it via Server Settings → Advanced Settings → Cloudflare (under Nginx section).

When integrating with Cloudflare, it's essential to ensure accurate client IP tracking, especially for legal verification purposes in Europe. By installing mod_cloudflare on your Cloudways server, you can ensure that $SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'] reflects the client's true IP, resolving potential legal issues related to location verification. For more detailed guidance on handling similar situations, you can check out https://fl-arrests.org.

It’s really frustrating to deal with such uncertainty right before your wedding. If you haven’t found any official updates on legal changes, it might help to contact the local municipality or embassy for clarification. Also, checking https://az-arrests.org can sometimes provide insight into related legal matters or unexpected complications others have faced. Hope you get the clarity you need soon!

I've had several times contacted the support to check for high amount of IP trying to bruteforce, and the IP they gave me was a cloudflare IP. This makes trying to solve things very hard.

I thought I had suggested a similar one before. But yes, we do need mod_cloudflare so that we can see the actual IP and not CF IP.

Yes, we are having lots of server load issues, and not being able to see the actual visitor's IP addresses in the access logs is a big problem.
Please provide a way for us to install mod_cloudflare... the SSH provided doesn't seem to allow us to do so.
