    Hi, Many startup companies like us would like to install Jira software as this would be more economical for us. Just wondering would be great idea to add this in default apps list

  2. give permission to application ssh user to create his own ssh key

    1. create an app on any server
    2. add ssh user to app
    3. activate ssh access for app
    4. log in as ssh user created
    5. try to do ssh-keygen

    The user can't write to ~/.ssh which is a problem.
    I can't give a partner en environment with git enabled to push / pull from a remote origin.

    Only work around now is to fire up a new server instance or give everyone master credentials.

  3. Provide "strace" utility.

    This unix utility ("strace" - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strace) is of great help, in finding out, what an apparently hung process is doing. It is required for master users, to do self-administration of their servers/processes.

    we have to purchase amazon service seprately for filemaker custom apps to run cloud ways should supports filemaker applications.

  5. support the Cross Browser Testing Tool(chrome&firefox mainly) as one option of Application

    Hi Team,
    pretty disappointed when i don't see the Cross Browser Testing Tool(chrome&firefox mainly) in the Application's option, just for your reference(https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=browser+testing), it's a widely used Application, i don't demand too fancy functionality out there by cloudways.com, but just expect to have the basic functions with this related, e.g: can open browsers, install extensions/add-ons, can upload test files as https://crossbrowsertesting.com/ provides currently. that's it!

  7. Offer some type of real time two way communication support (Node.js maybe Kafka)

    I want to get into two way realtime applications as I see that as the major turn happening in the industry. To be honest, I am not sure how to get there yet, with the servers I have. Apache's got Kaftka, Nifi, and Sockets I believe. JS servers have node. I guess there are solutions with Python and C, as well. I am not sure if PHP can do it? You need to put some realtime options into the platform.

    I’d love to see a one-click installer for ProcessWire but having the option of either the Master or Dev version. Dev versions are always so stable. And thanks for providing this handy guide to ProcessWire on Cloudways:

  14. Disallow changes to core app files

    I created a staging server. I need to give devs access to build our app. It appears sFTP allows full access to all the core files. A rogue dev could edit core files and we would'nt know. Once copied over to the live site, our website would be compromised and hacked.

    Cloudways needs to create a setting that allows account owners to configure whether devs have access to CORE app files. IF enabled, anyone with FTP or SSH access should NOT have access to core files of the app.

    or ALERT the admin if any changes were made to CORE…

  15. Have an option to force https when renaming the domain

    After we migrate a site to Cloudways, and rename the domain, we still have to take an extra step to find/replace http to https. Since your system already does the find/replace, it would save us the step of doing it.

  20. API: add additional domains without knowing the current list of additional domains

    It's already possible to add additional domains via API, the problem is that you have always to give the complete list of current additional domains. The current API URL always overrides all additional domains that exist.
    And there isn't also any way to get the current list of additional domains via API.
