It seems Cloudways currently doesn’t support having the same email be both the owner of one site and a member of another. Using a second account, as you've done, is a workaround, but it's not ideal. Hopefully, they consider improving this functionality in the future, as it’s common for consultants to manage multiple client sites without needing separate accounts. You might want to submit feedback to their support team to highlight this need!
