That’s a really good point. Enabling Cloudflare’s native Bot Protection at the Enterprise level would be a valuable addition. While Cloudways’ MalCare protection does help at the application layer, stopping abusive or non-human traffic at the Cloudflare edge would prevent unnecessary hits from ever reaching our servers. This not only reduces server resource usage but also improves performance and security overall.
Having the ability to toggle Cloudflare Bot Protection directly in the Enterprise addon dashboard—just like it’s available on the Free/Pro/Business plans—would give us more granular control and align better with Cloudflare’s native features. Definitely worth considering as a feature enhancement.
