Currently, Cloudways does not allow users to disable backups, and the maximum backup frequency is limited to 7 days. Users need the option to either disable backups entirely or choose less frequent intervals, such as weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Frequent backups can significantly increase bandwidth usage, and users have no control over reducing this below four times per month. For example, on AWS or Google Cloud, if a user has 50 GB of application data and 50 GB of database storage, they could end up paying an additional $50 per month on top of the vertical scaling costs due to these backups. https://www.ny-ezpass.com
