I completely get your point — having to adjust ModSecurity limits like SecRequestBodyLimit and SecRequestBodyNoFilesLimit multiple times a week can quickly become frustrating, especially when it requires contacting support every time.

A UI-based solution would make a huge difference here. Developers and agencies often deal with large payloads, API requests, or file uploads, so having direct control over these limits from the dashboard would streamline workflows and save a lot of time. Even a simple advanced settings section with safe defaults and warnings would be a big improvement.

From a platform perspective, this would also reduce the load on support teams and improve overall user satisfaction. Giving users more flexibility—while still maintaining security boundaries—feels like a natural step forward for hosting providers like Cloudways.

You can see similar trends in other industries too, where convenience and customization matter a lot. For example, services like Graduation Hibachi Party Love Hibachi focus on making event planning simple and flexible, and you can check more details directly at https://lovehibachi.com/

Overall, adding UI controls for ModSecurity limits would be a practical and highly appreciated feature for power users.

Yeah, I’ve had a similar situation before. Having to ask support just to change SecRequestBodyNoFilesLimit or SecRequestBodyLimit can get pretty frustrating, especially when you’re managing several sites and need quick adjustments. It would definitely make sense if Cloudways allowed these ModSecurity limits to be modified directly from the control panel.

When I was troubleshooting something related to request sizes and server limits, I ended up checking a few guides and tools online to better understand how these limits affect requests and uploads. One of the resources I came across was Gold Rate UAE, which I found while browsing different sites — you can click here: www.goldrateuae.live
. It’s not directly related to ModSecurity of course, but it’s an example of how simple web tools present data clearly, which is something hosting dashboards could learn from as well.

Hopefully Cloudways eventually adds more advanced configuration options in the UI so we don’t have to go through support for relatively small changes like these.
