    I'm honestly surprised that this isn't been implemented yet if this post was submitted in 2016.

    Typically on a server (not on cloudways apparently), you can have multiple versions of php-fpm running on a server and you can point a server to specific version of php via ngninx config. Doesn't seem like a difficult feature to implement so not sure what's with the holdup on this.
