    I completely agree this should be more flexible. Not every server needs daily or even weekly backups, and forcing a minimum of 7 days can become unnecessarily expensive, especially on larger AWS or Google Cloud setups.

    The option to set backups to Disabled, or at least choose weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, would give users much better control over both bandwidth and costs. For bigger servers with large application and database sizes, the extra backup charges can add up quickly and feel disproportionate to the actual server price.

    At the very least, Cloudways should let users decide the backup strategy based on their own risk tolerance, instead of locking everyone into the same minimum schedule.
