2. Option to Allow AI Bots Access Despite Cloudflare Defaults

   I’d like to suggest a feature improvement regarding AI bot access through Cloudflare.

   I fully understand that Cloudflare now blocks AI scrapers by default. While I don’t necessarily need direct control over these settings, I’d highly appreciate any available way to allow AI bots to access and index our website – even if it’s something that could be handled via support on request.

   Based on the current response from your support team, it seems this is not possible at all at the moment. However, enabling this functionality would be very valuable for us. We want our content to be accessible to AI systems (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) so they can discover and recommend our solutions to users.

3. Allow update flow: plugins > theme > check new updates > plugins

   The problem with some themes and plugins is that updates only show up after another component is updated. For example Avada theme has 2 plugins dependent on the theme, and updates are available to them only after the theme is updated. Some other themes and plugins have the same issue: available updates show up after other updates, so they won't be updated with a single run. It would be good to have at least the option to have plugins updated twice, with a check if new updates are available after the first plugin and theme update. In this case, with Avada, the problem is probably the worst (not including rare cases where something breaks) because there is always a big warning in admin after updates, because those two plugins have to be updated after the theme.

   Not sure if you use wp cli or something else, but with cli, the loop would be like this, for example:

   plugins

   wp plugin update --all

   themes

   wp theme update --all

   core

   wp core update

   refresh update information

   wp eval '
   wpcleanupdatecache();
   wpupdate_plugins();
   '

   Instead of simply showing technical metrics, the AI could explain the issue in simple language and provide actionable recommendations on how to fix it.    This would be especially useful for website owners who are not very technical and want to keep their websites fast and reliable without having to use multiple third-party tools.

   Currently, Cloudways doesn’t let organisation owners enforce 2FA for team members. Since many users on our account have access to our servers and sites, this leaves a significant security gap: a single compromised password could expose our entire infrastructure. 13. Feature Request: Support SSH Key-Only Authentication Without IP Whitelisting

    I would like to request a feature that allows users to enforce SSH key-only authentication on Cloudways servers without requiring IP whitelisting.

    Currently, Cloudways provides the Block All IP option under Security > Shell Access, which restricts access to whitelisted IP addresses using registered SSH keys. However, this approach requires users to manage allowed IP addresses and does not provide an independent option to disable password-based authentication while allowing SSH key authentication from any IP address.

    Proposed Enhancement

    Introduce a configurable option under Security > Shell Access to enforce SSH key-only authentication.

    When enabled:

    Disable password-based authentication for SSH and SFTP connections.

    Allow authentication only through registered and authorized SSH public keys.

    Deny login attempts that rely on account passwords, even when the correct password is provided.

    Allow authorized SSH key authentication regardless of the client's IP address, subject to other existing security restrictions.

    Keep this setting independent of the existing IP whitelisting and Block All IP feature.

    Benefits

    Improved server security: Reduces the risk of unauthorized access through compromised or weak account passwords.

    Simplified access management: Eliminates the need to maintain an IP whitelist solely to enforce SSH key-based authentication.

    Greater flexibility: Allows authorized developers and administrators to securely connect from different networks and changing IP addresses.

    Better access control: Ensures that server access follows a key-based authentication policy.

    Administrators should be able to disable password-based SSH/SFTP authentication while keeping SSH key authentication available globally, without enabling Block All IP or restricting access to specific IP addresses.
