Feature Request: Be able to remove/delete backup yourself
Hello Team,
Sometimes it would useful to be able to remove/delete an application backup on your own, e.g. if you need to free up storage, or if you backed up accidentally.
Also, renaming backups (to be able to use meaningful names) would be great.
These features seem to be very easy to implement and improve developer satisfaction.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,

Expose full OPcache settings in the dashboard
The dashboard currently only exposes OPcache memory size. But OPcache has two other limits that can silently cripple performance on multi-app servers: opcache.internedstringsbuffer and opcache.maxacceleratedfiles.
On my 8GB server with 13 WordPress apps, all sites suffered slow TTFB because the interned strings buffer (16MB) and file slot limit were exhausted, even after raising OPcache memory. Site Health showed opcachefull: true with a 67% hit rate instead of 99%. Nothing in the dashboard surfaced this, and fixing it required support tickets since these are PHPINI_SYSTEM settings that can't be set per app.
Requests:

Que Du Fake and Cloudways: Building Trust Through Flexible Digital Experiences
In today's digital world, relationships often begin online. Social media, dating apps, and messaging platforms have made it easier than ever to connect with new people. Unfortunately, they have also created opportunities for fake relationships, catfishing, romance scams, and emotional manipulation. This is where the idea behind Que Du Fake becomes valuable. The French phrase can be understood as "nothing but fake," making it a fitting concept for identifying fake relationships and helping people recognize the warning signs before they become emotionally or financially involved.
Websites dedicated to educating people about fake relationships play an important role in promoting online…

Add a Built-In "Print Test Page" Option for Web Applications
I suggest adding a built-in Print Test Page (https://testmyprint.com/) feature for hosted web applications.
Many web-based tools eventually need to print invoices, labels, reports, tickets, or other documents. Before printing important files, it would be useful if users could quickly verify that their printer is connected and working correctly with a simple test page.
This feature could help users:
- Confirm printer connectivity.
- Check page alignment and margins.
- Verify print quality before printing important documents.
- Reduce wasted paper and troubleshooting time.
I think this would improve the overall user experience, especially for businesses that rely on frequent printing.

Cors Application Settings inconsistency for non 200 HTTP responses
Under Application Settings there is a section for "CORS Header" where you can enable to add the 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin:' header to responses. When enabling this setting any custom htaccess and even this setting is ignored and responses that are not 2xx (for instance a status 400) WILL NOT GET the proper header "access-control-allow-origin" set to * and therefore the response cannot be validated. We end up EVERYTIME we create a new server requesting to SUPPORT that they manually add the proper header to the Nginx setting...

More Flexible Edge Cache Purge Controls
I manage a content website (https://infobudal.com/) where new articles and updates are published frequently. It would be very helpful if Cloudways offered more flexible cache purge options, such as clearing cache by URL, category, tag, or post type instead of purging the entire website. This would improve publishing workflows while keeping the rest of the site fully cached for visitors.

Reducing Third-Party Script Impact Improved Our INP Score
We noticed that user interactions were feeling sluggish despite having decent Core Web Vitals scores. After some investigation, we found that several third-party scripts were competing for the main thread during page load.
By delaying non-essential scripts until user interaction and using fetchpriority="high" only for critical assets, we achieved noticeably better Interaction to Next Paint (INP) results without sacrificing functionality.
We documented some of our optimization insights here:
Has anyone else experimented with prioritizing critical resources while deferring third-party scripts? I'd love to hear what techniques have worked best for improving real-world responsiveness.

Should Mage-OS Be Added as a Native Installation Option?
As Mage-OS continues to mature as a community-driven Magento distribution, it would be great to see it included as a native installation option alongside standard Magento.
Currently, users who want to switch to Mage-OS often have to install Magento first, remove it while preserving the database, and then install Mage-OS in the same location to keep the existing configuration. This process is time-consuming and can be confusing for less experienced users.
Adding Mage-OS as a built-in installation choice would simplify deployment, reduce migration steps, and make it easier for developers and merchants to adopt the platform.

Built-in Optimization Mode for Calculator and Tool Websites
I run a calculator website, https://growagardencalculator.cloud/, and many Cloudways customers host similar utility websites such as calculators, converters, generators, and other web tools. These websites are mostly static but receive high traffic spikes and rely heavily on fast page loads and excellent Core Web Vitals.
It would be great if Cloudways introduced a dedicated "Tool & Calculator Website Optimization Mode" that automatically applies the best server and caching configuration for this type of website.
Suggested features:
Automatic Edge HTML Caching
Optimized PHP-FPM settings for high-traffic tools
Intelligent Redis and Object Cache configuration
Automatic cache preloading after deployments

SEO Challenges for Geo-Targeted Content Websites
I'm building a Dubai-focused informational portal at https://dubaidetect.com and organizing content around transportation guides, tourist attractions, and local services.
One thing I'm considering is whether it's better to structure URLs by category or by intent when targeting local search terms.
For anyone running large informational websites on Cloudways, what URL structures have worked best for SEO and scalability?

Add a Built-In "Print Test Page" Option for Hosted Web Apps
Many web applications include printing features for documents, labels, invoices, or reports. It would be helpful to have a built-in "https://testpageprint.com/" option that allows users to verify their printer is working correctly before printing important files.
A simple test page could help users confirm that:
The correct printer is selected
Print quality is acceptable
Colors and alignment are accurate
Paper size and margins are configured properlyThis small feature could reduce wasted paper and ink, minimize failed print jobs, and help users identify printer issues before printing important documents.
It would be a practical addition for any hosted…

Add Role-Based Client Access for Agencies
I suggest Cloudways introduce more flexible role-based access for agencies managing multiple client applications.
Teams such as Unique Software Development often need to give clients, developers, QA engineers and project managers different levels of access without exposing billing details or critical server controls.
The feature could include:
Custom user roles and permissions
Application-level access
Read-only access for clients
Temporary access for developers
Approval requirements for critical server actions
Detailed activity logs showing who changed what
Easy access removal when a project is completedThis would help software development companies collaborate securely with clients and technical teams while reducing the risk…

Wacky Steps
One thing that works well in https://wackysteps.io is the way it teaches players through repetition. There is no long tutorial or complicated set of instructions. You learn by trying, failing, and trying again. Over time, you begin to understand how much pressure to apply, when to slow down, and how to keep the character from tipping over. That learning curve makes Wacky Steps more satisfying than it may seem at first. The game rewards attention and patience rather than speed alone.

SEO Ranking Impact Alerts Linked to Server Downtime & Speed Fluctuations
For SEO-dependent websites like calculators, tools, and utility platforms, even short periods of downtime or slow response times can quietly hurt search rankings — but site owners usually only discover this weeks later when organic traffic drops, by which point the damage is done and the cause is hard to trace back. It would be incredibly valuable if Cloudways could correlate server-level events (downtime, slow TTFB, spikes in response time) with a simple alert like "Your site had 12 minutes of slow response time on [date] — this may affect search engine crawling and rankings." Even a basic dashboard showing…
