  1. Allow Custom Cron Job Scheduling Per Application

Currently, Cloudways offers basic cron job support, but there's no intuitive, per-application interface to manage, schedule, and monitor cron jobs directly from the dashboard. Adding a dedicated cron job manager — with options to set custom intervals, view execution logs, and receive failure notifications — would greatly benefit developers running scheduled tasks like cache clearing, report generation, or database maintenance.
This would reduce reliance on server-level SSH access for routine automation and make the platform more accessible to non-technical users managing WordPress or other CMS-based applications.

  2. Add Granular Resource Monitoring with Alerting Thresholds

One feature that would significantly improve the Cloudways experience is a more granular, real-time resource monitoring dashboard with customizable alerting thresholds.
Currently, while basic server metrics are available, there is no straightforward way to set automated alerts when CPU usage, RAM consumption, or disk I/O exceeds a defined limit. For developers and agencies managing multiple servers, this creates a reactive rather than proactive workflow — issues are often discovered only after they have already impacted site performance or caused downtime.
A robust monitoring and alerting system could include the following capabilities:

        ul ul { list-style-type:

  3. Staging environment improvements are long overdue.

Staging environment improvements are long overdue. The push/pull limitation for subfolder WordPress installations is a real pain point for developers managing multi-site setups. Alongside this, preserving WP-CLI error logs after SafeUpdates cleanup would save hours of troubleshooting. Time-zone-aware backup scheduling is also a practical necessity for global teams. These aren't just nice-to-haves — they directly impact workflow reliability and client management efficiency.

  4. Currently, the supervisor service can be installed, but adding configurations or jobs

Currently, the supervisor service can be installed, but adding configurations or jobs is still not supported. Since Supervisor functions the same way across all applications, and it already works for custom PHP apps, the same functionality should also be enabled for Magento applications https://arytech.com/services/custom-web-application-development-services/

  5. Enhancing Cloudways with a Flexible Feedback Dashboard

A great idea would be to create a flexible feedback dashboard where users can submit, track, and vote on product improvement suggestions. This way, Cloudways can prioritize updates based on real user needs. Learn more about how your feedback can shape the platform!

  6. VPS vs managed database?

Hey everyone, Trying to make my first webapp and was wanting to know if I should just split up the db to a managed db Escape Tsunami for Brainrots, or could I keep it on one VPS monolithic style and switch later if I needed?

  7. Allow Reset File/Folders Permissions to Work in private_html

Not all of us are using WordPress or something that has to go in the public_html folder.

We're working on a slim app that is completely housed in private_html. It communicates to our soon to be new plugin on a different domain (domain instead of the subdomain we use for the private app).

I know support can do this for us but it would be so much easier for your clients if you just expanded your utility,

  8. Optimized Hosting Stack for High-Traffic Football Streaming & Live Score Platforms

Many football-focused platforms experience massive traffic spikes during major matches, especially when fans access live streams, real-time stats, and match updates simultaneously. It would be great if Cloudways could introduce a pre-configured “High-Traffic Sports Stack” optimized for video-heavy and live-update websites, including advanced caching rules, Redis tuning, and automatic vertical scaling during match-time surges.

This would help streaming and football content platforms maintain performance, reduce downtime, and handle sudden global traffic bursts more efficiently without manual server adjustments. Platforms like (https://yacinetvapk.vip/) could greatly benefit from such optimizations.

  9. More Flexible User Tools and Dashboard Clarity, A Suggestion

I’ve been reading through the suggestions here on flexible product improvements, and it’s encouraging to see the community engaged in shaping where Cloudways goes next. More flexibility in settings, backups, billing visibility, and server-level controls would definitely give users greater confidence and autonomy.

One area I think ties into flexibility especially for users managing frequent charges or usage-based systems is clearer balance and usage reporting. Whether it’s hosting services or other regular deductions, having quick ways to check remaining funds and transaction history helps users stay in control and avoid surprises.

For example, drivers in Dubai use smart toll systems…

  10. Simplify navigation for first-time users

Many users find some sections difficult to locate on their first visit. Consider adding clearer labels, a simplified menu, or a “Getting Started” guide on the main page to help new customers quickly find key features and resources.

  11. Cloudways Server Down Time – How to Minimize the Impact?

I’ve been using Cloudways for a few months now, and overall, the experience has been great. However, recently I’ve noticed a couple of instances where my server has experienced downtime for brief periods, which affects my site’s availability. I understand that no server is 100% uptime, but I’m wondering if there are any best practices to minimize the impact or prevent these downtimes from happening so frequently. geometry dash free

  12. Issue with Slow Page Load After Switching to Cloudways – Any Optimization Tips?

I recently migrated my website to Cloudways, hosting on a DigitalOcean server, but I’ve noticed that my page load times have increased compared to my previous provider. I’ve tried optimizing images and enabled caching, but the performance still seems slower than expected, especially during peak traffic times.geometry dash meltdown

  13. Unexpected CPU Spikes on DigitalOcean Server After Enabling Object Cache – Anyone Experienced

Hi everyone, I’m currently hosting a WordPress site on Cloudways using a DigitalOcean 2GB server, and I recently enabled Object Cache (Redis) from the platform settings to improve performance. Since then, I’ve noticed random CPU spikes that go up to 80–100% for short periods, even when traffic is relatively low (around 20–30 concurrent users). top games

  14. Add API endpoint to list apps and app details

There is currently no API endpoint to list applications, either by account or by server.

This would help your users be able to provide reporting on our Cloudways usage in automated ways.

  17. Support for Swoole / FrankenPHP as an alternative to PHP-FPM

It would be great if Cloudways could offer optional support for Swoole or FrankenPHP as alternatives to the default PHP-FPM stack. These modern PHP application servers can significantly improve performance, reduce response times, and lower infrastructure costs by keeping the framework in memory and handling requests more efficiently.

Many PHP hosting providers and platforms already support these options or make them easy to deploy — for example, Laravel Octane includes built-in support for Swoole and FrankenPHP, and several hosts like Clever Cloud and Upsun already offer FrankenPHP deployments as part of their platform stack for high-performance apps.

    Cloudways supporting these…

  18. Open multiple Cloudways dashboards at once in browser.

Often I have to have the Cloudways dashboard open in more than one tab, and frequently it signs me out of another.

Often I'm working on multiple items, or need to copy information from one screen to another or carry on a support chat (and the chat bubble covers the information I need on screen).

When I have Cloudways open in more than one browser tab, I'm kicked out on one of them.

  19. Allow Custom Nginx Configurations for the Lightning Stack

As there are some Wordpress plugins, which require that Nginx rules be implemented in order for the plugin to function properly, it will be really useful to be able to add custom server configurations for Nginx when using the new Lightning stack.

In cases such as the above, currently, the only option is to use the hybrid Apache/Nginx stack and utilize .htaccess for custom server directives. This, however, prohibits the applications from using the new pure Nginx Lightning stack, which provides better server response times.

Please give due consideration to this important feature, as the stack matures and more functionality…
