Make It Easier To Permanently Block IPs
In the Firewall list, current "offenders" are displayed with a TTL for when they will fall off the blacklist. For example, a reCAPTCHA exploit from a specific IP address might be auto-blacklisted for 6 hours, that sort of thing. It would be great to be able to click the 3-dot action menu and have an option to simply permanently blacklist the offending IP or country (drop the TTL) in one step. Currently, we have to manually copy the IP address. Remove the temporary blacklist. Click the Add Custom Rule button and add them back. Should be a one-click operation if…

Allow Bulk IP Import To Firewall
Currently one must enter a single IP at a time to the Firewall whitelist or blacklist. A text area where one could copy and paste an IP list would be better. My uptime service has 100+ IP's for distributed uptime checks and entering these one at a time for multiple servers I manage is impractical to say the least. It would be trivial to process a textarea input of of addresses delimited by line feeds.

Allow Blocking IP's Without having to open .htaccess each time
It would be helpful to have a feature that allows blocking IPs without having to open .htaccess each time. Currently, when I am reviewing my site's traffic and notice a spam IP, I have to manually connect via FTP, find the application, and edit the .htaccess file.
Yes I know I can PAY for cloudways protection or even do the free version. I still think it makes sense to have an option to ban IPs when you're reviewing them on server level.
It would be more convenient to have a button next to the IP that says "ban IP at…

Blacklist and block IP addresses
Via the Bot Protection section, which is Malware, it would be really beneficial to be able to click a red X (next to the whitelist green check) to block and blacklist an IP listed in the log.

Regional Data Centers
Expanding the number of data centers in different regions is crucial for improving cloud service performance and meeting local regulations. By situating data centers closer to users, we can reduce latency, which means faster access to data and more responsive applications. This local presence also helps cloud providers comply with data residency laws, like GDPR and CCPA, ensuring customer data is handled according to legal requirements. Overall, having more regional data centers builds trust with users and enhances the reliability of cloud services, allowing businesses to operate more efficiently across various locations.

Allow reloading php-fpm via CLI
After a deploy we want to clear the OPcache using the
systemctl reload php8.2-fpm.servicecommand, but we don't have access to it in the CLI. We're looking into a workaround, but currently this is keeping us from hosting more websites at Cloudways.1 vote -
Allow access to supervisor via CLI
We build Laravel websites, and often we use Horizon (https://laravel.com/docs/11.x/horizon). Horizon spawns supervisor processes, which need to be terminated after a deploy, so the changes get picked up.
Currently we don't have access to supervisor in the CLI, and it's important we can do that.

Cloudwaysbot Channels must be filtered by Server
As a master admin, I have a team that monitors specific servers. They are included in cloudwaysbot channels. The problem is that all channels receive all server alerts. If I am managing a customer's server, I would like to include a customer's employee as a team member and channel, but not receive all my server alerts.

The capacity to establish a staging area without app cloning
To construct a staging site, you now need to develop an application and then clone it. We have to construct two apps for each new customer we take on, but only one of them is being utilized. It would be great to just click "create new staging environment" and begin constructing right away. Of the twenty applications, half are just pending if we get ten customers next month.
It would also be great if we could provide a staging environment that has a WordPress version that is already created and that we can continue to refine.

integrate with erp system
Integrating ERP software with web hosting is crucial for ensuring seamless data flow between your business operations and online presence. This integration enables real-time synchronization of data such as inventory levels, order status, and customer information between your ERP system and your website. As a result, it enhances operational efficiency, improves accuracy, and provides a unified view of your business processes. I use this ERP:

Allow changing when the full backup runs
Currently the backup process do a full backup every 7 days, with no option to change that (confirmed by the tech support).
If you have a large amount of files then running the full backup this generates a huge spike in bandwidth usage and also affects the CPU load for an extended period of time (in my case 25% load for 2.5 hours).
I suggest to have an option in the control panel to specify the number of days between full backups.

ability to change app type
If an app is set to PHP, it can't be easily changed to WordPress app. Some apps we have were set up as the wrong type, and simply need changed. This is also to better avail of Cloudflare Enterprise page caching, which only appears to work for WordPress apps.
The current process requires creating a new app and migrating over, which is a much longer process. It seems like, in theory, it could be much easier/quicker.

Editable Application Username + Password in Cloudways UI
There was a post with 72 votes in 2020 and the status was set to planned but nothing has come of it in almost 5 years.
The cloudways application username is uneditable which is an issue because it's incorrect in alot of applications, specially cloned ones. This has been an issue when selling my first website hosting business as the new owner couldn't access the site using the listed details. It's also an issue in my current business because the username is returned in the cloudways API which means anything relying on the API and username doesn't work also.

Staging / Cloning - Add ability to ignore certain directories when making new clone or stage
It would be great if we can select the directories or files that should not be cloned or moved at the time of creating a clone or staging site. Sometimes, the WordPress media folder is too heavy to clone for minor updates. And for small tests and changes, it sometimes do not even required. I believe it would be a great addition if we can control that and will allow us to make quick stagings with less disk space.
