  5. Identity Access Management

    At the moment, when we create a server in flexible, by default this site cant be accessed by anyone except the creator of that server and the primary owner. This then becomes a bottleneck, when that primary account person is on leave or absent for any reason we need to wait which is not sustainable. I hope cloudways can create IAM Identity Access Management module similar to AWS where certain access can be defined and given to particular people to minimise this type of bottleneck. Thanks

  6. Why does unified.cloudways.com/login load like I'm on dial-up?

    The current dashboard login page loads like a man trying to walk through mud wearing flippers. It doesn't matter what browser or what connection, it's always the same and takes an age to load. It never used to be like this!

  7. Allow Custom Nginx Configurations for Lightning Stack

    As there are some Wordpress plugins, which require that Nginx rules be implemented in order for the plugin to function properly, it will be really useful to be able to add custom server configurations for Nginx when using the new Lightning stack.

    In cases such as the above, currently, the only option is to use the hybrid Apache/Nginx stack and utilize .htaccess for custom server directives. This, however, prohibits the applications from using the new pure Nginx Lightning stack, which provides better server response times.

Better still, include a link to a page listing all the search engines (with CIDRs if possible) that are never blocked. An ideal solution would be an option to allow search engines to be blocked.

  11. Improved stability and detailed reporting of SMTP service on Cloudways

    Hello Cloudways team,

    Currently, the SMTP service works quite well, but there are still some limitations when deployed in a real environment. Some improvements:

    Image-only PolyTrack reporting – Add a dashboard to display email statistics (create a careful/failed pong, the reason is in the article).

    Integrated temporary notification – If SMTP encounters issues (e.g., a blocker, quota exhaustion), the system will send immediate notifications via email or the dashboard.

    Fallback option – Allows for additional SMTP configuration to prevent service interruption in the event of problems with the main SMTP.

    Does Cloudways plan to implement a more comprehensive emergency support process for users who lose account access due to not receiving OTP codes or two-factor authentication failures — such as adding an official support ticket mechanism without logging in, more flexible identity verification mechanisms, an alert system when OTP emails fail on the server, along with a real-time status page to let users know whether the issue is with the email service, security configuration, or Cloudways infrastructure — to minimize downtime and avoid situations where users are completely “stuck” without being able to contact the technical team?

  18. What are the best open source/free DBs to use for a small organization?

    I'm volunteering at a small learning center and want to create a database. Seeing how it's a small learning center, it would be best to not use a cloud-based DB for financial savings x trench run, so I would like to know if there are any open-source/free DB software I can use that can store a moderate amount of info and can if possible, be implemented and managed it one server for everyone to use (not just have it local on my PC or to one device)

  20. Feature Request: More Flexible Database Scaling Options

    Hi Cloudways team and community,

    We love using Cloudways for deploying our apps, but we often find ourselves limited when trying to scale databases. It would be really helpful if there were more flexible options for scaling databases vertically and horizontally Grow a Garden, or the ability to configure read-only replicas easily within the same region.

    This would help small teams like ours manage growing traffic without worrying about downtime or complex migrations.

    Has anyone else needed more flexible database scaling on Cloudways? Any workarounds or suggestions?
