1. The account switcher doesn't work unless you logout and log back in

   I'm a developer who manages many servers. Including servers on multiple Cloudways accounts. I've noticed for the past couple months that the account switcher (the dropdown to the right of the Cloudways logo) doesn't work unless I just logged in. If I haven't just logged in it gives me a "You are not authorized to perform this action" error after attempting to switch to a different account. So I have to log out and log back in every time I want to switch accounts.

2. Improvements for Deployment Process

   Hi. If a Magento project uses the internal deploying flow it would be great to have a chance to add updates to the deployment process.
   The issue:
   1 - We need to put store to the maintenance (manually)
   2- Click pull in the cloudways (Deployment via GIT tab)
   3 - Wait when the updates will be pulled and file right updated - (Magento contains too many files and this process can take around 6 minutes)
   4 - Run Magento deploying scripts manually

   Idea:
   Some triggers can be added to the cloudways script to avoid run some deploying parts manually.
   For ex: if the file beforepull.sh exists in the directory privatedeploy/ it will run automatically before pull updates.
   if the file after_pull.sh - exists in this directory it will run after the updates pulling. Or something like this.

3. Enable apache directory listing in public_html

   Apache directory listing can be very usefull when you need to provide several GB of data to the public, like daily newspaper roundups or other kinds of files that are heavy and are provided as a service to our clients.

   I suggest CW to allow clients to enable apache directory listing or at least gives us the possibility of enabling it in only a few directories though CW support.

4. We need Storage Option to offload WordPress video, audio, photos, & other uploads to a secondary storage.

   Membership sites and Course websites can easily become storage intensive and the current plans you offer do not offer enough storage and are not a good solution for this. In my opinion the current Block Storage solution doesn't make much sense to me. I need to be able to offload video, pictures, audio, and other uploads to a secondary storage solution either hosted by Cloudways or other platforms. It would be nice if Cloudways had an option to purchase a secondary storage option then through a plugin made by you or a third party be able to offload the media to the secondary storage block or server. All of this should work with CDN.
   SIMPLE POSSIBLE SOLUTION...
   An easy solution to this would be to give the WORDPRESS MEDIA AND UPLOAD FOLDERS a separate storage of its own with a SYMLINK that allowed the main server to view the MEDIA / UPLOAD FOLDER (pictures, video, audio, uploads) as part of the primary file system but is actually located on a separate storage media. Make the Media / Upload Folder a Mounted Folder (secondary storage or network storage). This would allow us to increase the size of the WordPress media and upload folders as more storage is needed.

6. Notification when Elastic email hits 90% of your subscription

   Currently you get an email when you hit 70% and 100%. That's a very big gap.
   A 90% limit reached lets you know when it's really critical.

7. Applications List View: Enable Pagination Setting of X Items per Page

   The current application list view default to 10 applications per page:
   -> It is NOT possible to change the number of items per page.

   Suggest to enable pagination setting for number of items per page. This is a simple UI adjustment, but very useful for daily application management.

8. Digital Ocean block storage

   Could you please add a option to upgrade just a computing power (RAM & CPU cores etc.) without increasing SERVER'S OWN DISK If I already have enough space available on block storage?

   Since most of the time 50GB is enough for logs and operating system operation. After then I just want to upgrade computing power without increasing SSD.

   I'm making this suggestion based on this statement:
   "once you add a Block storage, the SERVER's OWN DISK becomes unusable for web files, it is dedicated to LOGS and server Operating system only."

   If it is possible, please make this feature available.

   Also, can you provide AWS Simple mail service(SES) add-on available on your platform? I need this feature urgently.

10. Suggestion regarding Breeze functionality

    (A quick and important disclaimer: I'm not expert and the suggestions below are not based on any technical or professional test. There are based on few experiences gathered from using other WP caching plugins, and the way those plugins function)

    I want to really commend CloudWays team for the recent Breeze WP plugin 2.0 update. AMAZING!

    Switching from other speed plugins, including WP-Rocket, and installing the new update increased my site speed significantly; I was shocked! Great thumps up to you guys!

    But I have a suggestion. I noticed that Redis cache get cleared completely when any page is updated, a new post is publish, comment is added, etc, the cache, including Redis cache and NginX is completely wiped out.

    Why not that only the cache of the affect page being cleared, instead of clearing the entire cache, and even Redis cache?

    For example, when a ne post is published, why not clear cache only for home, associated category and tags; and when comment is posted, why not clear only the affected post or page with the comment, instead of clearing the entire cache?

    I have not notice any negative or performance issue with this, but I think, clearing only affected pages will even improve site speed more as Cache stay longer on the server, especially for those who want to change cache lifespan to 3, 7 or even 30-days. Also, it will save more server resources since more caches are not generated too often.

    Just an example, the image HERE (https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/464726525/57a29fa97069d7897a852ad9/affa.PNG?expires=1644847188&signature=760b29ac23870aa72428592ec98e4f226a22c99263d26f2b1f3ddd81d5d6f951) is from my wp dash, and as you can see due to too frequent cache clearing, when news and comments are being added, the cache get clear too often, as a result, Redis cache hardly go beyond 100MB during the day or during heavy traffic hours.

11. Add a note option for whitelisted IP addresses

    Under the security tab, make it possible to add a note for every whitelisted IP address. Then I can remember which IP address is the one off coworking space, which is the developer that’s no longer working for us, quickly find my old IP address after my ISP changes it again, etc. -- all allowing me to keep IP addresses that are whitelisted tidy and at a minimum.

14. SSH/SFTP White List - Terminal Command

    It would be nice if we could whitelist IP's from the GUI Terminal - sometimes the GUI doesnt always "stick" when I hit save.

    However, executing a command in GUI terminal always executes if you hit enter.

    It would be nice to have a backup way (e.g. via GUI Terminal) to execute certain functionality like "Whitelisting IPs" in the firewall.

    Please, please, allow multiple databases per application.

    I think this is a must-have feature. For example, for Drupal sites, this would enable the "multisite" capability. In this configuration, multiple sites share the same Drupal core code and modules. This makes updating Drupal core and modules a snap, as you can update multiple sites in one step.
    Think of a web agency that maintains dozens of Drupal sites - updating one at a time is a lot of work. Drupal doesn't support automatic updates like WordPress but it's rumoured to be available in Drupal 10. The multisite features requires multiple databases - one for each "sub-site".

17. Problem is with self migrator plugin Not with Cloudways (Remove it)

    I was so excited to move my hosting provider from traditional to cloudways but after few days i was wrong and everything because of the inbult cloudways migrator plugin it totally suck.
    This is to just let you know guys, your self migration plugin vault has some problem with elementor, i have migrated my site for more than 10+ times and i have got the same issue and because of it i again have to re creat the whole site in wordpress (it has took me more than 5 months to develop, not a big issue because i can simply copy and paste the layout but i would recommend you to take a look on the issue, sometimes it forget to copy the database of sometimes it crash the whole site.
    Sometimes the fix content issue (Because of cloudways i again have to create my website for second time from scratch because after migration from old to cloudways you plugin somehow not migrated everything it had excluded like elementor database and many more and because of it i again needed to create it.

    Really a bad experience, I am not going to recommend anyone reading this line go through the migration plugin go via the team migration because it include or if you have more than 2 sitesi would recommend until the issue wont be fixed do not move to cloudways.
    I am feeling regret i have migrated to cloudways and deleted all my old hosting acounts if i had that i would have went there only.

    I wished I knew the plugin has lots of bugs and error!

19. Display Backup storage requirements

    Cloudways server backups require at least 50% storage space of the server to perform a full backup. This mean's although they are moved off the server once complete if you are currently using 51GB of 100GB storage the full server backups will fail to run. For those that backups are important to, at least 50% must always be available.

    It would be good to have a feature somewhere in the server management that won't allow you to fill the server more than 50%.

    Other suggestion:
    - Warnings to say "Your website is 51% full, backups won't run! Free up storage on your server or increase your storage for backups to run on the next cycle."

20. Create custom URL for new Cloudways apps - without subdomains

    For example...
    we could change: wordpress-565604-2320235.cloudwaysapps.com
    to: easyname.cloudwaysapps.com

    Currently, the only way to do this on cloudways is to make a subdomain. However this...
    1. Makes launch more complicated because you have to migrate to a new app before pointing domain.
    2. Bloats the primary domain.
